I think they do. APD seemed to discourage, but I think Futurama definitely can count.

And why is this in adult section lol.

(Just wondering, why is this in the adult section?)

Does something like "Venture Brothers", "Futurama" or "American Dad" count as sitcoms?  I know they're animated but they make me laugh a hell of a lot more than a lot of the other crap on TV right now.

I'm afraid to say yes.... but for now, I don't think so.  American Dad might... but the others no.

Lets try to keep it live action for once.

Well according to the definition you posted, Futurama is a sitcom. And so would say King of the Hill.

1. Seinfeld
2. Fraiser
3 Curb Your Enthusiasm
4. The Andy Griffith Show
5. Fresh Prince of Bel Air

Fawlty Towers was a short lived sitcom that I loved.

Oh, King of the Hill.

Lol!  That was my fav animated sitcoms for sure.  Nothing comes close.  Simpsons can be okay.

Always Sunny is pretty damned good too.  It's almost too goofy to be a sitcom though, least how I look at it.  It feels more like live action Aqua Teen a lot of the times.

Remember, "Home Improvement?"  Ha ha!  Ehhh, not in my top five, but I just remembered it.

I really know Full House wasn't all that groundbreaking, but I still like it a lot.  I think it is based purely on growing up with it.
