Wh-what.

What hopeless idiots. Mistaking a priest for a... n-no... people are that dumb...
I don't like the continued aggression by countries against the US. I feel it is because they think we have weak leadership.
Were the Balkans part of the USSR? I thought it was the Baltics, Ukraine, Belarus, and a few other smaller countries, like Moldova. Hence my confusion. It'd make sense if Putin were targeting the Baltics, since they were part of the USSR. Putin, what a magnificent bastard. He knows how to push other countries leaders buttons. I recall my friends AP history classes and my Economics classes had quite a few discussions about him.
Mm, frightening thoughts really...
For many years, I and many others have been commenting that this obsession with bombs, both by terrorists and law enforcement, is pretty silly since a far higher number of deaths could be achieved by gunmen. We've even used this as evidence that killing people is not the core aim of terrorists, but rather that they are seeking attention and spectacle, and thus that fearing them is not only playing into their hands but thoroughly irrational.
Going by the last couple of years, it's starting to look like there's been something of a pivot towards seeking casualties. I don't know enough to say whether this is specifically an ISIS thing, but correlation is wiggling its eyebrows at me.
correlation is wiggling its eyebrows at me.Correlation is a saucy wench.
Yeah, so apparently some hyper liberal journalist either payed off the gun man, made it up, or the seller was breaking the law and didn't care.
Yeah it's stupid. I'm waiting on my friend for link.
No. There's tons of news channels. And politics, crimes, accidents. Sometimes stuff from outside the country.
There's also a joke in there somewhere about Britain deciding they didn't like being part of someone else's empire, but I'm too lazy to find it right now.
Globalism, One world order folks, Obama, Hillary, and progressives. This bit confuses me.

... I'd looked into vet school for a while; in the process, I noticed an awful lot of the students were remarkably top-heavy. I guess big boobs makes you a better vet?Maybe they remind the patients of their mothers. The pets, I mean. Even older dogs and cats like to cuddle up and suckle when they feel insecure or nervous.
Nostradumus you crack me up XD
But the bigger busts come in handy when the doctor situates themselves where the head of the chair is in front of their chest and over their legs, and they tell the patient too scoot up. It tends to make the patients end nestle up on boobs.
As for vets with big busts, I can't really confirm. I have a small bust, my roommate has an even smaller bust, I have another friend going into vet stuff who is a DD, and then one who's DDD maybe bigger. In my classes there's mostly flat chested girls (A-B's). No need for me to explain why I notice these things >3<
Hahaha, guilty as charged :P but I actually prefer ass than busts. Butts are just so nice. Boobs be just fat hanging off your chest :POy, who am I to judge?

And I like all manner of things in good shape. Boobs have a slight advantage in that they almost always remain entertaining if packaged up properly, whereas a flabby unshapely anything else is a bit more challenging. Also: https://e621.net/post/show/337701 (semi-NSFW)
Barring a few isolated nuts, of course. I mean, any crazy can hide behind a Bible or a Torah and claim he's killing people in the name of God, but Islam is a whole different thing.
The online ads funding model seems to provide very perverse incentives to news publishers, incentives that did not exist to anything like the same extent in the age of the newspaper. (To the extent that they did exist, we got tabloids.) It's more than a little troubling.Heh, my previous post is a grammatical mess. Glad it wasn't completely incomprehensible.
Professor Johnson calculates that 112 black men, on average, suffered both justified and unjustified police-involved deaths annually during this period. There's way more in that post than I want to tackle, so I'll only hit some parts which stood out. Though firstly, a [citation needed] on those numbers; not saying they're necessarily wrong, but they need to be supported before they can be taken seriously.
[...]
This equals 2.5 percent of these 4,472 yearly deaths.
[...]
That same year, black males were just 6.6 percent of the population
The figures above highlight a horrific truth that black racialists and white liberals routinely ignorePolitics-baiting only serves to polarize people further. This alone could've been reason enough for your friend's post to get deleted. The point is also largely irrelevant to the topic of LEO abuse of power. It is a problem, just a separate one, and muddling them together only makes for a muddied argument. Same with BLM's argument, where I see two separate issues: LEOs violating the public's civil rights, and a question of racial discrimination. Actually a third as well, being the judicial system failing to maintain checks on enforcement, which only exacerbates the situation, and likely leaves members of the public feeling that the only way to find justice is by their own hands; hence, Dallas.
I remember when he was first elected, there was an officer involved shooting (I don't remember the exact case, but if I find it, I will link it). Immediately Pres. Obama attacked the officer saying his actions were wrong. After the investigation, the officer was found in the right and the person he shot was completely in the wrong.I don't know which case you're thinking of either, so I can't comment on it directly. However, one of the issues around LE accountability has long been that almost universally the investigations exonerate officers. It's the more recent proliferation of video which have caught officers blatantly lying, such as the recent road rage off-duty cop incident (and surprisingly he was stripped of his badge and gun as soon as the video surfaced).
I don't believe that racism can only be a white thing. Whoever came up with that idea is dead wrong, and said an uniformed statement.Yeah, that's part of the tumblrina/SJW attempt at redefining terms to suit their agendas. Unfortunately, many people appear to have accepted this version over long-standing and easily found dictionary definitions.
the two recent officer involved shootings that killed two African American's (both of which were committing crimes or breaking the law at the time),The recent ones I can think of were the guy selling CDs and the traffic stop with the CCW holder. The CD guy had a gun in his pocket, but I don't know yet the reasons why the officers initiated contact with him; what I have seen of it seems fishy, but I'm reserving judgement until I find out more. The CCW holder appeared to have done everything right--he informed the cop that he had a firearm on him and a permit to carry it, which is what you're supposed to do. The officer seems to have panicked at that, but again more info is needed. Still, it doesn't appear the CCW holder was doing anything illegal. Maybe we're thinking of different cases.
did you know that neither of those officers were white that shot? The recent Dallas PD shooting was directed at white officers, and white officers only. Isn't that racism? Isn't that a hate crime? Aren't all crimes besides maybe theft and some others, a hate crime? The cop who shot the CCW holder was apparently Hispanic, though the passenger identified him as Asian. The two who took on the CD seller were both white as I recall. As for the Dallas guy, I would certainly call it racism on his part. But bringing charges of that sort, or really any other, are rather pointless seeing as how he's kinda dead.
Has race relation gotten better after President Obama was elected? Didn't people tout us electing him as a bridge towards a future without as much racism?
I don't believe that racism can only be a white thing.
Well after the Orlando terrorist attack, the debate in America jumped to gun control and trying to ban guns to a degree. Are we going to try and ban work trucks now?I'd be perfectly fine with barriers put up to keep heavy equipment from running rampant through pedestrian areas. As for Orlando, my questions lean more toward what kind of protection is all the NSA funding getting us.
3 Officers Shot to Death, at least 7 injured in Baton Rouge (http://www.wbrz.com/news/3-officers-dead-after-shooting-near-brpd-hq) :(And another article on the same site:
The online ads funding model seems to provide very perverse incentives to news publishersSeems we're not alone in questioning it. This was passed on to me today:
The country as a whole has spent a long time being very pro-LE, with phrases like "tough on crime" getting approving nods (and election-time votes), resulting in free pass for officers. Now throw in assorted wars on the citizenry (drugs, terror), access to military equipment for whatever they like, legal protection from any requirement to help members of the public, and "whatever it takes to get home alive" to the general hero worship and you wind up with a clusterfsck (http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2011/08/31/actor-steven-seagal-sued-for-driving-tank-into-arizona-home-killing-puppy/#781d582c77f8) of a situation. There's a huge amount of correction needed.
And of course there's the media problem. Yes, they do harp on about white-on-black abuses, while often ignoring other combinations. I don't have statistics in front of me, but I suspect that the majority of white-on-black killings or other assaults haven't been hate-fueled Joe Random white citizens since at least the '70s, leaving either self-defense situations or...cops. So all this combines to look like it's all white cops abusing black members of the public, when that's far from the whole picture.
Then again, there are lots of things which are far too common to bother reporting on. Like how you'll hear about plane crashes more often than car crashes, which could give the impression that planes are falling out of the sky at an alarming rate.
Dunno. I had a point, 'til I lost it after too many RL interruptions. I think it was something about wanting to see entire issues addressed and solved rather than only partial ones. Maybe something about not inciting even more violence? Oh well. Carry on, everyone.
And it sounds like there's an increase of criticism over their migrant policy going on over there.
Elsewhere, the DNC has notably bigger protests than the RNC had, even in spite of the heat. Things may get interesting.

Well, the Archduke was visiting Bosnia I believe. If I'm not mistaken...Čabrinović's first attack, a grenade, actually failed; the two rounds fired by his associate Gavrilo Princip-- one for Ferdinand, the other for his wife Sophie-- struck true. He may have been a lousy shot, but a mistake in the scheduling of the royal procession allowed him to coolly approach the royal couple as they sat right in their car and shoot them at point-blank range.

Has nothing to do with a Latino country. Don't make it Latino nationalist problem based on ethnicity/race.
It has everything to do with Mexico's lack of control in their own federal government and their lack of a real strong Navy.
And while we are at it, Spain has a weak Navy too.

As far as French military might goes, the very first automobile accident occurred in France when an early steam powered-vehicle got out of control, barreled along at all of two miles an hour-- its top speed-- and knocked down a stone wall on a military base. The creator's reputation was ruined, and he later died penniless and in exile. The jokes just write themselves.
Turkey has been used for decades now as an example of a successful Islamic country with a secular democracy. This all started with the founder of "modern" Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. He said the only way for Turkey to be successful is to modernize like the European powers at the time. He made people learn Latin, outlawed Fez hats, and made many reforms for push Islam away from the government. He made Turkey a Republic and the most successful Islamic country for a middle class and freedoms.
Okay well, then, if we do take down Kim Jung Un under Trumps administration, I doubt he was the one who started it so.... If that happens, not all credit to him. I'm sure it would have been planned years before he came in. He would just be there to oversee it happen. But yeah. Anyway.
We shouldn't have to "make noise". This noise making kills people.

Thoughts and prayers to everyone in the region. It will be a bad week for them all. It's not the wind damage, but the water damage. There will be flooding from Houston, to Austin, San Antonio, the entire coastline, Laredo, and into Corpus Cristi. It is projected so far, to be very bad. The storm will stall tonight, sort of over Port Lavaca and Victoria, then move north over there weekend, then go southward towards Laredo and then turn back to Rockport by the middle of next week. That whole time it will be raining and have either super storm winds or hurricane force winds. It is going to inundate this south eastern portion of Texas.
Thoughts and prayers to everyone involved with Hurricane Irma. First we had Harvey and now Irma. A one two punch and a major challenge to our local and federal agencies. Pray for all the people and hopefully everyone heeded the evacuation orders.

I'm upset at Canada's lack of Navy... They have more water boundaries then nearly any country on earth... and have no policing/protective force to patrol it. Especially the ever important Arctic waterways! They just going to rely on the US? Disappointing once again Canada.... And this isn't just a Justin Trudeau problem...
So has anyone heard the radio promos for the new film Chappaquiddick, about Ted Kennedy and the curious case of Mary Jo Kopechne, set for theatrical release in a couple weeks? The ads warn audiences the film contains "strong language, graphic imagery and... historical smoking". I'm sorry, is this really a thing? Are cigarettes so terrible and shocking that people have to be warned beforehand that they might see folks enjoy a smoke? "Historical" smoking? Okay, yeah, in those bygone halcyon days you could light up in an office or a police station or, hey, even in your own living room without someone wanting to pillory you, but, c'mon. Historical? Every other old detective show on late-night cable TV show has the gumshoe, first thing, either offer the client a cigarette or having one himself. Columbo would look positively naked without a cigar in his mouth. Mannix, Bannacek, Peter Gunn, Perry Mason-- all of them smoked, I think. I never heard anyone make much of that fact before. A filthy habit, to be sure, but historical? In the words of my hero Mad Max (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efDA9g2oQBk), "My big ol' butt!" Like it's really going to advance the story to see all the President's men puffing away in the danger room. I think someone lost sight of the point, which is the premise of the narrative: Teddy's handlers trying to spin away the fact that Jack and Bobby's drunken lout of a brother just drowned a girl in his car. Smoking? Historical? Please! I never heard anyone confuse Ironside with a documentary about disability advocacy in the workplace, or I Love Lucy for a show about the plight of Cuban immigrants who marry whiny show-crashing redheads for green-card immunity. What next, a content warning about "historical drinking" for any film where alcohol is consumed? Pray they don't do a bio-pic about Ulysses S. Grant-- he was reputed to drink so much they could've floated the Monitor and the Merrimack on a sea of his swollen liver.

COVID-19 Map (https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6)
I am not sure if it's 100% live, but it is very up to date so you can visually see where all the cases are. The six deaths are indeed alarming coming from Washington State. But here is some context. All those death's were elderly people with pre-existing problems. They are having an outbreak at a adult living facility where everyone is old and in need of care due to health issues. These people are already at a higher risk of passing away due to illness, and certainly COVID-19 isn't helping.
A study by Seattle researchers are saying that COVID-19 may have been circulating unknown for up to six weeks in the Seattle region and possibly the US, but for most people the symptoms are so mild they don't even think anything of it. Possibly just a cold. They also have noticed that children are not getting the illness. You can follow one of the scientists from Seattle's Fred Hutchinson's Cancer Research facility and his live updates via his Twitter here.

We'll have to wait and see what coalition we get...
@TheBeesSneeze , actually there is no time limit for the parties to decide about their coalitions - it can take several months. Until then, Angela Merkel remains chancellor, and all the ministers keep their positions as well. The thing is, a party cannot rule alone by itself if it doesn't have absolute majority. The SPD only won the election by a few percent, so they have to form a coalition with another party.
If Russia does decide to invade, I predict they will go as far west as the Dnieper River.

Just hope she will live to tell another story someday.
I was gonna post this. Queen Elizabeth was such a wonderful woman and she led not only her country, but the world with her charming smile, and strong leadership. She never got political, and in a sense, she became a symbol of peace, care, and a sense that everything would be okay. We lost a wonderful person today.
God save the Queen.
