So how many times has the Democrats tried to get the President out of office now?  I swear, every week they are posing something new and every time is is false or proven false.  I'm really sick of it and I am willing to bet that most of America who is moderate like me is sick of it.  We can see it. 

It seems like they are worried they will lose the 2020 election and they feel the only way they can win is impeachment.  But it also is apparent the Democrats seem to be willing to get Trump out of office no matter what, even if it's worse for the country as a whole.  I don't understand it. 

I'm a centered person, but their actions makes me resent the left.  They are becoming too radical and moving too far left.  They are opposing the person whom America elected.

When the Democrats had dozens of what they claimed "Articles of impeachment" including bribery, quid pro quo, and laws broke, and yet when they make the articles of impeachment, they included nothing they claimed they had. It simply means they didn't have any of it.  The dozens of laws broken they claimed went down to two things which aren't even laws. They don't have definitive evidence for anything they lied to the American people about for the past three years.  It's going to end very badly for the leftists, progressives, and Democratic Party.

Are people celebrating to soon about the impeachment thing?
Unless the senate finds him guilty... he can run again for a second term and as of right now he is still in office.

Yes he is impeached, but until the senate convicts (which wont happen) nothing changes.  Basically it is something for his wikipedia entry, nothing more.

It was all for show at this point and has no real meaning other than it's part of his legacy, which I know he doesn't like.

But the House is holding back the articles of impeachment from the Senate right now and not allowing a trail on the Senate's end.  If they do keep it, it will be shown as a purely political spectacle by the Democratic Party, in that they won't allow the Senate to have a vote. 

But as of right now, it has zero effect on the Presidency or his running for a second term.

Basically a mark on his record... that'll do no real harm in the future, for the most part.

I'm sure he isn't happy about it... but the hesitation to take the papers to the senate to actually start the trial... well that will add fuel to the fire... now he and other republicans can use this during re-election/election. Such and such democrat wasted money, wasted time and money, wasted tax payer money on a show.

So to the people celebrating right now... they are celebrating a hollow victory? I guess... it was dumb and pissed off people trying to watch TV not a circus act.

It's a hollow victory indeed if you can even call it a victory.  It doesn't help when the Democrat party tried to pretend this was a life or death situation to the Presidency... They said they had to remove him... and now they are holding the articles of impeachment not furthering the process.  So I guess it wasn't that dire after all.

After the impeachment was approved by the house, there have been several videos uploaded by Democratic politicians celebrating his impeachment.  It wasn't for the country as they had claimed, but their own personal hatred.  In short, all politics.

Remember how the Dems said he broke laws?  High crimes?  Bribery?  Quid pro Quo?  All of those things they had mentioned?  Well... they didn't include anything they said happened in the articles of impeachment.  They had instead replaced all that with two weak articles that are not laws, nor crimes, and are quite ambiguous.

I know I sound like a Republican right now, but as someone in the center, it's so obvious what was done here.  It was a circus act. 

I would argue the most damage done here was to the Democrat Party.  Is anyone even watching their debates? No.  Viewership is declining and was less than average primetime weeknight television now.  The Dem candidates are getting no airtime.  If anything, this impeachment is firing up the Republican and Independent base to re=elect the President.  Polls show most of American's can see this was a sham.  Even Democrats know it (except for the one's fully brainwashed watching purely MSNBC or CNN.)

It was very hallow.  I am not sure anyone could have watched this and feel it was legitimate.  The articles of impeachment were reduced to nearly nothing. 

From what I have seen, the Democrats didn't have evidence to support their high crimes they claimed.  So they went with vague articles of impeachment.  Whatever happened to their claims of Russia collusion and ties to Ukraine and strippers and all the other stuff they claimed?  They made it up... they paid for the Dossier... Brennan and Comey lied about not using the Dossier as a reason to investigate the President and they made up a bunch of stuff hoping Clinton would win.... she didn't.... and now they are trying to hide a lot of bad things by going after the President. Place people's attention where it shouldn't be.
