So after the near perfect end to the trilogy with Toy Story 3, we have the release of Toy Story 4 today, June 21st, 2019.
Many fans are worried if it will hold up... but so far early reviewers are saying this movie holds up on it's own and succeeds on most, if not all accounts.
Let's hear your feedback/discussion, whatever it may be. Now the question begs to be asked... will this be the last of our favorite cowboy and space ranger?

I hope it's superb!
-
I'm sure it will be really good. I would like to hope Pixar doesn't want to do anything bad with their top series.

The Onion strikes again with their "review" of TS4.
-
Oh gosh.... OH GOSH.
-
Has anyone seen it?

Based on Pixar's resume of having sneezes in their film's, I would be surprised this movie doesn't have a sneeze. It will sadly probably be male, but it would still be a new sneeze.

Pretty cool video the the technological upgrades Pixar has done since their first movies.
Fun fact, majority of Pixar's main animating computers are still Apple. :) Their PC's do boring stuff like accounting.

That was a cool video, MasterX. :) It's amazing looking back at TS1 and seeing how dated it looks now. I mean it still looks good, but now is just so much more advanced.

Has anyone seen the movie?

Nope, still haven't seen it.

This movie it doing well in the box office, but not nearly as well as expected. I'm surprised.
As of June 27, 2019, Toy Story 4 has grossed $179 million in the United States and Canada, and $123.6 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $302.6 million. The film had a worldwide opening of $244.5 million, the 46th highest all-time and biggest for an animated film.
Although below projections, executives at Disney were pleased with the debut since it continued Pixar's "remarkable consistency" at the box office and showed "proof of audiences' long-time love for the Toy Story franchise". Additionally, it was the best opening of the series and the fourth-highest of all-time for an animated film.

I want to see it, but I'll just wait till I can buy/rent it.
-
Has anyone watched this yet?
-
Nope.

I LOVED it!
That is awesome! :D I'm glad you enjoyed the movie.
I have not seen the movie yet, but I want to. To be honest, I was really worried about this movie =( Sometimes sequels can be rushed or not have as much care as original movies.

You can give the 4th movie a watch, you might be surprised.
-
I was worried too, but it is getting great reviews... it's just strangely not drawing in as much money as I thought it would.
-
Glad you liked it. I want to see it!
-
I also saw toy story 4 and like it up until the end solid 8 out of 10 movie

So should Pixar END the TOY STORY saga here? Does it end well as is... or did the leave it open to continue?
-
I thought this was a good place to end it. I was skeptical at first because I thought 3 was a good ending too. But then my friends helped me realize that 3 was Andy’s ending. 4 is the toys’ ending.

That's actually a really good point I didn't think of that and I don't care if they make 5 it won't ruin 4 so why not

That sums it up perfectly I think.
