I didn't know this was the last installment.  Let's hope WRC Generations is great.  Announcement trailer below.

Codemasters will take over the WRC license following this game.  Codemasters makes the Dirt Rally games and was recently purchased by Electronic Arts.

I hope it's good.  I wonder what the studio will work on next?  The WRC games are solid, but never the absolute best.  They don't have the money to do what some other studios could do.  Codemasters taking over has promise since their DiRT games are so great, but their new overlords of EA has me worried somewhat.

I have never played their previous games, but I might have to jump on this WRC Generations game.  I do own and really like the previous DiRT games.  I have one and two.

Split/Second is an older racing game, but it's the cheapest it's been in years.  Worth a buy if you want an action packed  ARCADE racer.

I played it a long time ago.  I really liked it.  I loved the game Burnout Takedown, and this had similar vibes, but not quite the same.  Split Second is more scripted.

Gosh I miss the Burnout games.  The first three were my favorites. Now all they have to buy online is Paradise City.   It's just not as good.

Codemasters first game under the control of EA has been released, F1 22.  The F1 games have historically received good to great reviews.  This game is getting mixed reviews. The main issue seems to be bugs, crashes, and other technical gremlins.

It really looks like most are overreacting though.  Many say there have been improvements to the driving.

I own both F1 20 and F1 21.  I recently started playing F1 20 and it's pretty difficult. I probably need to mess around with the settings more, I have no assists on except balance control.  I was battle for last place the entire race.   I'm not precise enough I guess yet.
