We see what anarchism is capable of and we are seeing a inner growth or radicalism. It is filled with people who want to fundamentally alter our society and landscape. Erase and rewrite history how they see fit. We've seen this happen in many countries like China, Venezuela, etc.

especially don't want to become Venezuela. The other afternoon I heard
this item on the radio about what hungry people in parts of Caracas and Maracaibo are doing for food... and, God help me, my first reaction was "
I would pay
to see that shit!" I'm thinking maybe they should make a short about it for that new
Looney Tunes Cartoons show... bring back that little witch-doctor from
that one old cartoon, y'know, and repurpose him as a starving Venezuelan native loose in a zoo, going from cage to cage trying to nosh greedily on all the animals. Couldn't you just see him all crazy and drooling, trying to, like, put mustard on an elephant's butt? Be a pretty-funny one-shot, I think, if they had the balls to do it. Meh... Nah. Too soon, too raw. People are a bunch'a friggin' snowflake pussies these days.
And... "suffering involuntary weight loss"? Pretty fancy candy-ass way to say "starve", isn't it? Hell. Any way you slice it, hunger
is a serious issue, no matter where you are. All this talk about shortages here in the U.S., stories about perfectly good meat getting thrown out, and milk spilled into sewer grates because a worker at a plant allegedly tested positive for Covid-19. Such a goddamn
waste. Here in my town, hanging out behind the supermarket, I've met some pretty good folks who are eating out of the trash, they were so poor and desperate, and that was back in the summer even before coronabug broke. I can't imagine what it's like for them now. Does social distancing still apply at a dumpster? Will grocery stores be forced to lock up their cast-off trash to prevent a homeless person catching the virus from exposed produce and meats? Think about that when you sit down to your post-Fourth Sunday bbq feast this evening, friends and neighbors.
I agree that humor is often the best way to alleviate stress and defuse a potentially bad situation, but what can you do when even an innocuous joke is looked upon with a sour eye by your sensitive, overreactionary types in one group or another? Our country has more big movements going on now than an elder-care facility on stewed-prune-and-bran night.
...And here comes the truckloads of hate mail now.
