Im just asking for help as i got a brand new laptop £200 its a few weeks old now and i noticed it get really hot it has no fan so im wondering if thiers any cooling method i can use to help as when its hot it becomes slow.
-
What kind of laptop is it? This actually makes a difference.
Apple or a standard PC?
In most cases though, the cooling space is on the bottom of the laptop... for dumb reasons... so if you simply lift the laptop up, prop it up somehow, it should cool itself find. Especially if your laptop is on soft blankets, your lap, or something else, it can overheat quickly. Best to use it on a hard surface or have it propped up so it can cool.
You can keep the topic up. Might help someone else.

Its a standard pc its lenovo make i have it on a hard service but that makes no difference at all it has a lot of air but i dont see a change.
-
Have you tried propping it up?

Turn down settings. Maybe you are running too many programs at once, or something that is intensive to the computer? At the worst, you might have to get a laptop fan.
-
Laptop fans (http://smile.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=laptop+fan) for as cheap as $10.
The only other factor I can think of is, is the temperature hot where the laptop is located?
-
Nope my room has no heating and i dont run much i only use the internet and is it safe to use a cooling pad.
-
That's weird. Maybe it is so new... it.... I don't know? Try searching up the issue online for your exact laptop?
-
well im gonna have to get a cooling pad for it.

I recommend going to a 5 Below store and getting a computer fan there. Even if it breaks, it still props your computer above a solid surface and allows the air to cool it or at least keep it from overheating. Weird how a computer doesn't have a fan though... I've never heard of that. Sounds crazy haha
-
Where do you use it? Using it on a bed, or your lap can heat it up. Using it while charging may also be a factor. My only suggestion, is a low-power cooling fan.
-
Well thanks for all the help im gonna get a cooling pad for it much appreciated everyone.
-
Hope that works. Let us know.
-
Well i got a pad with 5 fans in it and it works at cooling down.
-
Wow, 5 fans! That's crazy prepared man. But glad it's working, now hopefully your computer won't overheat and constantly turn off.
-
Will your laptop even be warm in the slightest, with 5 fans? XD
-
Pfff, probably not. Until it breaks... Like mine did.
Stupid cheap ass 5 Below fan.
-
I think you ate well prepared now.
-
I also got one of them deskfans for it if needed so it will stay cool.
-
Oh nice. Fancy.
-
And buy just the laptop a portable air conditioner.
If you are not set now, then that's crazy.
