I was super excited for this game, but I cannot play it.  So I guess I will have to wait a few years. :-\

CS:2 is doing really well right now.  They've been updated and fixing things.  Still don't own it yet, but I have been following the news.

CS:II's player count has dropped significantly.  It is about even with the CS:I player count now.  I predict it will drop below.

It's unfortunate, but it wasn't ready for prime time and most can't play it on their computers.

I'm still devastated by how Cities Skylines II has imploded on itself. :(  The old game now has more players than the new one.

It is very upsetting what happened and how it could be years for it to even be a fraction of what CS1 was.  I think they will eventually give up and I fear the parent company will call it a loss and no longer invest in city builders.  Heck, they might even have to make new DLC for CS1 to make some money.

I wonder what his will mean for Colossal Order going forward?  I mean, I think the game sold well initially... so maybe they made money?

I'm not sure.  Right now the internet is doom and gloom, but I wouldn't listen to them until we get official word from reputable news sources or from the company directly.  If we start seeing layoffs, then worry.

Pretty much this.  Let's not fall into the anti-hype when we really don't know the full story yet.

I wish we had a Sim City 4 successor.
