So who are some characters you think are good characters, but hampered down by being on bad or under performing shows? It might be the full character, their mannerisms or backstory. Share it with us. I have always thought this would be an interesting topic so lets try it out. It can be on any type of media from tv to films. Live action to cartoons. Begin.

(Changed the title to include "movies" so people can see. ;))

Good topic idea. I'll have to think about it. :)

I like Raven's character.  She's quite diverse and interesting, on an uninteresting show.

Widely forgotten 90s cartoon.  Nothing to write home about.  It was forgotten for a reason.  Just super trophy and 90s-ish.  Very dated because it tried to be "hip and cool" with the times.

I do actually like Raven's character because she has some depth and does cute and interesting things quite often.  She is a great example of at least a decent character on a poorly regarded show... that is a ratings hit. ;)

Thank you.

Exactly this!  It is a ratings magnet for Cartoon Network... at least for the time being.  This show wouldn't be panned so vocally by online communities if the first TT had never existed.  It is mainly the people nostalgic for the first TT that berate TTG.

Pretty much... because the majority of people who watch the show on television must actually like it.  The minority is online, the most vocal, because they have access to the internet more the the intended age group who watches TTG... and you know... kids actually have lives instead of nitpicking cartoons online. ;)
