Many people agreed with your first initial statement.  But then you went off and made more statements people disagreed with.

This! ^

By first initial statement were you meaning me talking about people who have some stuff they just only dislike just because it's popular and nothing else but which many people did agree with me on, yet but everything else I said like people having no reason to dislike a kid show other than it's for kids which here are people disagreed with me on?

Also here is something that I think gets despised for no reason, any modern reboots and spin offs and they are mostly only despised because nostalgia people said that it ruined their childhood and nothing else.

That is true to a degree.  Many reboots really are not as good.  But if people can keep the nostalgia blinders off and take the new shows as being completely separate... some can be okay for being completely different.

But then that begs the question... why not just make a whole new show if you plan to change the original characters.  I guess the writers plan on piggy backing on the old shows notoriety instead of having to build up their own with a new show.

Indeed.  I guess a success story of an old show that was "rebooted" with totally new characters and what not was MLP:FiM.  No one complained at that.

But then you got other reboots people complain about like Teen Titans Go! from Teen Titans.

I'm hearing talk of a Muppet Babies reboot.  I wonder if we'll be seeing some new babies come to the nursery. I always wanted to see a Baby Zoot or Baby Swedish Chef.  I also had an idea for a couple of hipper "urban" millennial versions of Statler and Waldorf.

The new DuckTales imo looks great, and this is coming from someone who liked the cartoon but liked the original Scrooge and co. Carl Banks comics most later on in life (of which it appears to be based on to a degree). ^^ Besides, with a former Dr. Who lead actor in the cast, it looks like the makings of a great revival. This is something they should've done with the 7D.

I don't think I can handle another Muppet Babies, and imo, I don't think the public really asked for another 'babified IP' genre. I didn't get it in the 90's with Baby Flintstones, Baby Tom & Jerry, Baby Ghostbusters, etc. and I don't think I'd get it now, either. XD

I'd rather have another season of The Muppets than a baby-anything based cartoon. :D

or a new season of... anything, honestly. XD

Old show fandoms are still out there, looks at Kim Possible... and.... well... thats it. :D

The Darkwing Duck universe is alive and well with a fandom that's somewhat large. :D The comicbook revival was a hit with fans (save for one story, due to behind-the-scenes drama). Check out The Old Haunt and it's sister site Duckverse, lol
