Depends on the pet really. Different animals require different levels of attention.

Fish seem pretty easy to take care of.

True, but if you get those cheap 10 cent fish, they seem to not be as big a loss to some people.

One little fish, simple fish bowl.  That requires maybe weekly cleaning is all.  Not bad.

Yeah, but you always have to clean up after it.
I mean, those little bits of gravel are hard to get out of the rug....    ::)

Pretty mediocre weekend for me.  Just wasn't too good, but it was horrible.  Oh well, it happens sometimes.

I've got the habit to listen to the CD Jesus Christ Superstar every Easter - I like the music, and also the movie version, a lot. I grew up with it since my parents had the album in the 1970s when I was a kid. It was one of my first contacts with the English language, and the more I grew up, the more I understood.  ;)
I've also seen the rock opera on stage several times. The last time was 2 years ago in my home town by an ensemble from Italy. Actually, Ted Neely - the original Jesus in the movie - starred as Jesus again, which was great. Of course he had aged, but he still rocked.

^Oh, I love that rock opera too!
Unfortunately, the original Jesus from the original opera (Ian Gillan) didn’t play his role in the movie because he was to busy with his band.
And, Gillan’s voice had aged dramatically :(.

I actually saw an Easter bunny yesterday afternoon. He was furry and brown and was scampering merrily across someone's nice green lawn.

The pups wanted to give chase, catch the rabbit, rip off his head, and eat it.

I've never been prouder of them.    :D

Say, are the churches open for Sunday services yet?  Admittedly I haven't gone to services in almost three years, since I moved to a town that has no Lutheran church. Surprising, as most other denominations are represented. There seems to be a church on every other block here, and I swear, the names of the places get longer and longer the further you go.  The one on (street name redacted by author) has a name so long they practically need to build a second marquee to get it all on there.

On Easter I watched the movie "The Passion of the Christ."  I saw it once when it came out and said I wouldn't never watch it again.  It was too gruesome and painful... yet I was given the opportunity (sort of forced to) watch it again.  It was just as harsh and as brutal.  It's weird I can tolerate violence in so many things, but that film gets to me. Maybe it's because I know WHO it is getting that unjust torture.
