You are using correctly to me.  I like cake.  Has to be moist cake though with a creamy icing, not that sugary gross icing.

It's called fondant I believe.
I actually dislike frosting in general. Cakes here in America are just so packed with it and I find myself sloughing it off because it's just too much! It's crazy haha, I usually end up having a pile of it when I eat cake.

Now cake from Peru... Mmmm....

I like the cake part, not the icing.  Unless it is truly a gourmet like... butter creme icing, but otherwise I wipe it off and eat the good cake part.

Hence why I love the chocolate cake from Peru. Everytime we go we bring back a cake. It may come back squashed but it's a cake damnit!
