Well, it’s not for me. I prefer big screen, steering wheel etc., etc... Also, what hardware must be in that Steam Deck to carry that huge system requirements? I am afraid the graphical part may be really downgraded compared to the desktop version.

The Steam Deck is something we've been talking about here (other forum posts) a lot.  It is an incredible machine on paper.  I am curious how well it will be in person.  It has the potential to be a game changer and I would totally love something like this on the go.

It should be worth noting that moderators of the SCS Forum have been removing any posts or topics people are making about the HoR DLC and if it's release has been postponed. Even if the topic doesn't get political, all the posts are deleted or locked.  The largest HoR thread on the forum has been locked due to conversation about HoR.

This could turn into a black eye for SCS if they silence too many voices and make the ETS2 community angry.  They are getting quite explosive in their posts on blog topics, which have not been moderated (yet?).

You are now starting to see more and more comments from ETS2 players saying they wouldn't buy the HoR DLC because of current events.  Prior to the attack, it was pretty universal that posters said they would buy it anyway.  I guess an invasion changes minds.

I hope that handheld works great!  It is such a cool idea to have you PC catalog of games with you anywhere or just so you don't have to sit at a computer desktop.  Based on other games tested so far on the Steam Deck, ETS2 and ATS should be able to be played to their highest settings no issue.

Now are deleting the comments in the SCS blog too about Russia's invasion and the possible delay of the HoR.  SCS knows they can't avoid this much longer.  Personally, I don't think they have to answer (and they shouldn't have deleted the posts), but the public is going to want answers.

^^ You guys know more than anyone I love ETS2 and I have been wanting this new DLC for Russia.  But I can't see myself buying it (at least now) for what is happening.  I love SCS and I want to support them.

But in a shock to you all, I am going to start playing ATS for the first time since 2015-16.  I own every single DLC for ATS, and I will support SCS through their new Montana and Texas DLC for now.  Until the world stage calms, I am going to try ATS.

I do not think SCS should be blocking and deleting comments and questions about the Heart of Russia DLC.  It is very unfortunate timing for this HoR DLC.  It isn't fair that SCS has spent roughly two or three years on it, just to release it as this is all happening in Ukraine.  I think financially, it would be best for them to finish the HoR DLC, but not release it now.  Wait and work on the next ETS2 DLC, and maybe push some reworks for people.  I would like to hope the community can understand this is not a good time to release a pack about Russia.

The latest updates to ATS and ETS2 changed a lot if you use a controller.  Now pages, tabs, and buttons are marked to match a Microsoft Xbox controller and buttons or a Sony Playstation controller based on what you use.  This is likely to tie in with the Steam Deck.  They are good changes from what I've noticed so far.

That long?  Wow.  You've missed a lot.  I think you will enjoy it.  Happy driving!  ^b-

I was delivering to the NAMIQ facility in Colorado Springs when I noticed a secret unmarked road.  It's a very scenic road and just thought I would share it here for anyone who wants to try and find it. :)

Credit to them on making this stance and I think it was really well thought out.  The brought up the past and what Russia did to their country as well, something Timmelon referenced as well.  We got no confirmation on what they will do with the HoR going forward, but that is fine.  I don't care about that right now.

When the Ukrainian flag designs are finished, I will be purchasing that.

I can't think of a way SCS could have handled that any better... other than maybe not deleting comments and posts about the subject, but I understand that goes against their policy of "no politics" in the forum.  I could have sworn there was already a Ukraine flag DLC, but I will definitely be purchasing it when it comes out.

Not to gloss over this wonderful bit of charity SCS is doing, but I have to wonder what all of your opinions are now.

What do you think will happen to the HoR DLC?  I know it isn't cancelled in anyway, but do you think it's release will be delayed?  Will the money from the DLC go to partially help Ukraine?  Any thoughts and speculation?  (We can keep the war talk completely out of this, just talk about the DLC).

It’s the first idea which comes into my mind :D, but of course, rerouting the income from only one DLC may be considered as a negative discrimination, so, in my opinion, SCS may conduct the poll about what products can be used for charity.
As for DLC itself, the nature is made very well (I love totally different trees from the video), but it’s very likely to make a delay until some positive changes will happen.
