I think SCS should make all the money on the HoR DLC.  They deserve the money and the lost money they will have with the delay and their giving to charity.  They didn't have to give any money if they didn't want too, but it is so awesome they are.  Especially for the Ukraine flag DLC which I will be buying as soon as it releases.

There will certainly be angry people as @Silverwing loves to point out in comments all the time, lol!   But I think most will understand SCS's eventual decision to delay.  They can work and finish HoR, then jump into their next big project, which would mean a shorter wait time between big map expansions.  As well, to hold over the ETS2 crowd, work the the Austria rebuild and work on another one as well so it doesn't seem like too long a wait without new content.

As for the ATS side, they seem to be really busy with a long line of things for that coming.  So I got nothing to add there.

^ That makes some sense.  I doubt they will release HoR while tensions are still high.  So the delay is probably a real thing. Except a 1.44 release first. SCS has sense allowed people to discuss the issue in their forums again.  The overwhelming consensus among people is that the HoR will be delayed.  Most are fine with it, some are livid and stupid. 


So maybe there will be some new truck news, or new mechanics for the game.  I always like the idea of some basic customization of your garage.  Like very basic, such as change the building design among some presets, and have some base interior design changes.  Stuff like that.  Maybe add a repair shop to your garage and a fuel pump.

I remember that idea was posted here before and I still love that idea.  They could allow us to use their walking feature on the grounds of our garage.

^ Oh yeah, that would be neat, useless, but neat.  Having the ability to change the design of the building somewhat just ads a personal touch.  I never liked how all the buildings look like steel in ETS2 or how they all look like brick in ATS, etc.  Let's have some variation and the ability to change how it looks.

So, there still no information what exactly update will include renewed Linz and Innsbruck, but I like how everything shown on this screenshots looks.
Also, funny naming here: there is Bad Leonfelden, so somewhere must be Good Leonfelden, right?

Ukrainian Paint Jobs Pack is available!

Well, the one with fields looks really cute. It’s a pity this DLC is not available for ATS, which has Charged cargo company with blue-and-yellow color scheme . Also, you may notice, some comments under this post tell they wanted to have this pack for a higher price, to donate more money.

So, as I said, that paintjob looks cute, but you also need a matching background to make proper screenshots . Those tiny fields on France’s west don’t look so cool. Having a truck with fully paintable face is totally recommended .

Also, the other livery with a waving flag could be better if the truck’s color was adjustable.

Looks for a bigger wheat field with blue skies.  I'm trying to think of where this could be.

I bought the pack, but haven't had time to try it yet.

The Heart of Russia DLC tab has disappeared from the SCS press website.  It been removed sometime in the past week. The Going East and Scandinavia DLC are not included because SCS didn't originally make tabs for their DLC's before Viva La France.

So in some other news.... some are saying this might be a teaser of a new Truck to ETS2.  Thoughts?

I can’t wait for the 1.44 beta. Maybe the changes are pretty minor, but there will be so much of them!
