Hmm.  I'm not sure I will ever dive into this feature, but I am glad some will get this dream come true. :D

This is really good news.  This animation explains more than I could say.

Nice.  :)  This will be nice.

Some minor thing is I hope they have more varied weather sometimes and a skybox that isn't pixelated too!

Also this truck looks awesome.

I can't say I will use this much, but it might be fun.  I've never had issues of getting stuck before.

And how it’s going to deal with RR crossings? ;D

Oh, and since in *TS the height can be changed anytime you want, I think you may emulate Voodoo car from GTA series ;D.

P.S. Maybe, some special people have already made lowrider mods for *TS. Maybe, even Oni-Kyan wheels exist in our game modder’s world, but I really don’t get the point in it — these photos and videos always make me cringe.

Whenever I think of the Voodoo, I think of the Vice City variant driven by the Haitian gang. ;D

I had no idea TS was becoming a gangster baller game! ;)  What's next, drive bys on rival trucking companies??  [excited] [excited] [excited]

Until my truck can perform moves like the Voodoo, I will never be happy. ;D I remember toggling the joysticks around on my controller and the car would just jump around. Good times.

Well, *TS doesn’t allow us to take the overweight (unlike the first WoS ;D), and even the post about Steering Knobs DLC says they are actually illegal in some countries. With that attitude, the real crimes can’t be real even in 1st April mod.
That’s an aftermath of shooting in the truck loaded by 20 tonnes of dynamite (my favorite cargo! :-0) in 1970s:

Also, that thread I have seen this picture has more interesting photos.
That Oni-Kyan wheels you may get by accident (the man under truck is okay):

The picture on the trailer’s door looks very convincing:

They say that photo was taken on weigh station in Massachusetts. «Your vehicle is not in perfect technical state. Be more careful next time!»

This article says the crater was 30 feet deep and 50 feet wide.

And this is why I don't carry explosive loads in ATS.

When Northern California is being redone, this freeway interchange needs to be changed.  I can't even call it an interchange. (Look at the arrow on the screen)  For example, if I am going from San Rafael to Sacramento, you can't easily do it like in real life.  You have to for some reason take a freeway exit ramp, go on a small road, then get back on the freeway.  You can only go south and stay on the freeway for some reason in the game.  You cannot go north. Like why did they even do that originally?  Lol! I guess they didn't want to make a proper interchange despite doing it in other places?

Also, San Rafael is really a badly designed city in the game.  It never looked remotely close to the real city.  So I don't think we'll be losing much with it gone.  I mean... the face that San Jose isn't in the game and that Oakland is literally just a Hotel California building and a seaport is also silly.  This all needs to be remedied so much.

That bugs me so much still!  When I used to mainly drive around California, this always bugged me.  There used to be another one at a Los Angeles interchange, but it has since been removed and replaced with a proper interchange.  For some reason in the game, if heading south and wanting to go east on the freeway, it forced you onto Los Angeles surface streets to get onto an eastbound highway.  Like... what?  Lol!  Thank God they got rid of that.

Hmm... I totally forgot that the 20th anniversary (Aug. 31) of the first WoS game is coming ;D. Those mountains from Extreme Trucker look pretty good despite the age of the game.
Also, we have a year since the last ETS map DLC release, and it’s unclear when the next expansion will come out. This year is under ATS’s star ;D and I hope we will see two new states, like it was in 2019 and 2020.
