The Renault Tuning Pack will feature additions for the T.  No evidence of other models getting anything.  It will release sometime this week.  Most likely either Tuesday or Thursday.  The price will be $3.99USD.

It could be Wednesday.  They are doing a livestream tomorrow (Wednesday) and a member from Renault Trucks will be a part of the stream.  So they will likely showcase the product, and possible release it right away, or release it Thursday like you said.

It will be interesting when they add Montana, they will have to finish I-90 through Idaho.  My guess is they will add the town of Wallace or Kellogg as a visual scenery location. It would be nice to have another marked town, but they are going to be so tight on space as it is.

A lot of chromed details for a truck’s face, also, part of new elements are present in black or truck body color — including the headlight protection! So, like with Mack Anthem, we have two full sets of parts — for making a bright-colored truck with black details and for making a dark-colored truck with chrome . Inside the cab, I love the shelf with painted borders and the big carpet (only for high cab, low one has only small carpets), everything can be bought at Renault dealers IRL — some of these items (cap, torch, keyring) were given as a gift on the presentation stream.

Only one complain — this pack is only for T, and the older Magnum and Premium didn’t get any update (unlike older Mercedes Actros and Volvo FH in previous tuning packs).

You were right, MasterX.  Captain R. was right in it coming this week and the lack of add-ons for older trucks.   Good job guys.


As for this update though (Thanks Tim for breaking it down), I will wait to purchase this one.  I drive a T in-game, but I don't have a reason to update it now.  I feel like this is a purchase more for when it goes on sale to me.  I will eventually buy it, I mean, I owner every DLC for the game except for all the flags paint jobs.

Indeed. Right up there with Colorado. Eisenhower Tunnel in Colorado is the highest part of interstate system in the USA at 11,158 feet above sea level. 

Chief Joseph Pass along the Idaho-Montana border peaks at 7,276ft.

These are just interstate freeway mountain passes.  Not other types of roads, because they do go higher, such as forestry roads, logging roads, etc.

For comparison, this place on B107 in Austria (look how much closer the tiny pond is due to game map scale )...

... is on 2407 m elevation, as one of road signs say. So, it’s a little higher than Chief Joseph Pass and lower than the Eisenhower Tunnel, although you need to drive on much more curvy roads to get here .

Don't get me wrong, I love and appreciate what SCS does and how well they scale the map, but it would be so cool to see things a bit... BIGGER.

Not in this generation . ATS map was very small when they made a rescale from 1:35 to 1:20, and current maps in both games are too big and complicated.
SCS still have the whole UK and Switzerland to pull the level of quality from 2012 to 2022 standards .

The UK will be hard for them.  I think that's why they keep kicking it down the road to do later.  I mean, it's going to requite the amount of work that goes into a new DLC map.

Also... are they ever going to make German cities right?  They are horribly outdated in the game still.  Only the German roads and autobahn outside of cities have been redone.

Heart of Russia DLC statement

So, the initial day of release was planned roughly at current month or so, but now it’s left for better times.
We still have two upcoming map expansions for ATS and one trailer pack, which will likely be presented tomorrow, as told by this tweet — ETS already have trailers with a crown on their logo, so ATS must not fall behind .

As for the HoR blog post, I think it was smart the LOCKED the comments section this time.

It really sounds like SCS has zero plans on releasing HoR any time soon.  What did everyone else get from that?

I do think it's awesome over 85,000 people bought the Ukraine flag DLC.  That is incredible.

Yeah.  They don't plan on releasing it anytime soon at all.  It seems like they might be okay with NOT releasing it.  Wow.  Earlier from what many said and thought, it seemed like they'd delay it for a couple months, maybe a year.  Reading this, it seems pretty unlikely we will see it anytime even remotely soon.
