Imagine an editor that we could move shapes around ourselves and color! Oooh! Like add our trucking company logos and add text.

Im imagining, but I am not seeing it happen anytime soon. ;D  Lol!

News are coming almost every day!
Today SCS is presenting the new feature — scenic cutscenes: Idaho: Director’s Cut

Judging from how much news are about Idaho DLC, it’s a great chance that it will come out a week or two after 1.38 official release, if not earlier (like New Mexico, which was released along with 1.29).

That is a nice new feature.  I am sure they will be going back to older states and adding some in.  I also wish there was a free-roam camera to easily go around the map and see things... I guess that is what the photo mode is for.

Idaho is very close.  On their World of Trucks Website it says this...

There is something like that in console commands already (the Youtubers often use it in DLC reviews), although the speed of free camera is pretty low.

UPD: third in a row day with news: Roof Horns, or Better Late Than Never ;D.

The SCS staff must have a lot of time at home because of all these updates and news posts!  I love it! It's been almost daily for for awhile now.

The RGB color is the first step into further customization I am sure!

^ I am playing around with a new trucking company design.  In ETS 2 I am thinking of making specific designs for each country, based on the nation's flag or national colors. :D

Boise looks pretty good.  Wow.  Of course SCS has to scale a bit differently, but overall, it's mostly all there.

In real life, Boise is a well loved, small city that is reportedly great for raising families!  Just over 200,000 live in the city limits of Boise.  It is in a rivalry with Spokane, Washington for the largest city in the "Inland Empire" region of the Pacific Northwest.

Just from looking at how SCS has done Boise, it seems like they did it more accurately than their Spokane.

BOISE

SPOKANE

^ I wish they would make Spokane's skyline look better.  It's a beautiful city that doesn't look great in ATS.

I'm getting ready for Idaho next week!  I better drive my truck closer to that Idaho border for easy traveling the day it releases. :D I think I am going to start in southern Idaho which is more "desert-y" and work my way north to the forested areas and end in my garage in Spokane.

Since the player's truck is kicked back to garage after loading any patch with map changes, having a garage in Ontario is a fastest way to enter Idaho after the update.

But then you will see all the cool stuff in Boise right away.  I'm going to start in remote NOWHERE like coming up from Utah.  Mainly smaller towns out east, then as you head west you hit the "big city" of "Boise" then end it in the scenic and beautiful Idaho north, with mountain passes, lakes, rivers, and greenery. :D
