Here, have something cute and heart wrenching at the same time.  This baby is so expressive.

^ That was many, many years ago.  That was historic when the tanker crashed back in the day.  It's all clean now.

Also that "claimed" fact they say at the end of the video is completely false.

Is it really? Huh.

Ah, well, good to hear it's all cleared now. I mean, I figured it was old footage, but still though, some crap just doesn't go away.

I think some of that footage was from all over the place.

The biggest oil spill that I always remember was the Exxon-Valdez.  Alaska is known for it's pristine habitat, and they made sure to clean that up beyond what it was beforehand.  Today, Alaska's southeastern habitat lands (Where this happened) is considered some of the most pristine land in the world.

Oil companies have to clean way more then 15%.  That is a complete lie on their part.  Discredit them.

Since the days of the Deepwater Horizon spill in the Gulf of Mexico, BP has spent over 50 billion dollars in repairs to the ecosystems throughout the region.  It isn't just 15% being cleaned.  They go as close to 100% as they can, and have to due to lawsuits, regulations, and the federal governments.  There is also the Federal Oil Spill Cleanup Fund, here in the United States, that all oil companies throw money into to help agencies clean up in case of a spill.  That money is not included again when the oil company also still pays for clean up on it's own.

Oh yeah, I remember the Gulf one. I'm way too young to have even been around for the Exxon one.

But huh, that's pretty interesting though. Thanks for the info, too!

Isn't the BP oil spill getting a freaking movie about the event now?

Deepwater Horizon is already in theaters. The film has gotten mostly positive reviews, but it is performing poorly in the box office and is not making up the money they spent to produce it.

Oh it's already out?

Well to be fair, it's somewhat soon. And people are eithef still pissed about it or kind of forgot about it and don't care.
