Thank you for your concern everyone.  She was fine, and it turns out her phone company had been updating their lines and her phone was out for five days.  I couldn't believe a phone service would do that for so long.  It took them a week, but I guess they assumed everyone had cell phones. Well not Granny.  They got her phone line fixed, as well as everyone else in the area, the other day.

I will be honest, I was really nervous driving up there.  I was... kind of expecting the worst.  As you all know, this year has been kind of hard on me.  So I didn't have a whole lot of confidence and was worried how I would handle the situation.  I didn't want to see what I was worrying about.

I'm glad everything is alright though, APD.  I think we all kind of worried that.

Back sooner than expected. My PC was in such bad shape, the tech guy was surprised it still functioned. I had to get a new computer.

I had opened it up, because something had gotten inside it. I tried getting it out with the end of my headphones. Unfortunately I forgot that the end was made of metal. I had also dropped it many, many times. Basically, it was held together with duct tape for a few years.

Dude. Stop dropping your laptop!
Hell, if my computer wasn't working cuz I dropped it so much my parents would have made me buy it myself! You carry that thing like it was your child, Claof. Keep it safe.

I've never dropped my laptop.  You treat it like a King.  Put it on a pedestal, have you Royal Guard protect it.

This man knows what he's talking about. I one time accidentally walked into a wardrobe with my laptop and the back of it took the brunt. And I was rubbing it and petting it and saying sorry for like a few minutes. Luckily no cracks.
