Big state... hmmmm, is it Rhode Island?  No?!  LOL!!  THIS IS LOOKING VERY IMPRESSIVE!!  Some really nice photo.  The first five or six photos appear to be from the same city.  They mostly all feature one high rise that can be seen in the photos.  Specifically image 3, and 5.  I think the first five or is are from the same city though.  12 and 13 are also from the same city.

Based on the photos, we see Waco and Galveston, which are on two separate ends of the state.  So they have a lot done. Image 15 I think is a section of Dallas.  Images 16, 17, and 18 may be the same city also.

Lot's of historic high rise buildings in this incredible photo release!  Image 23 has a weird advertisement for "Custom body implants at Saiberware.  Extreme biotech!"  Very strange...

EDIT: I'm an idiot.  I didn't realize they labeled the towns in the blog post itself.  I just read the paragraphs and looked at the photos. UGH.

Also nice new rigging system.  I see the flowers are still in their rightful spot.  That was the only thing I was concerned about, is knowing if they would still be there.  What made you choose the LT to start?  Did you start a new ETS2 as well?

Wyoming was my fav addition.  I liked it more than Colorado, my home state, lol.  I don't know what it was about Wyoming, but I loved it's simplicity and big open spaces to drive in.  Also the new photo mode was much improved.

The Texas update looks BIG indeed.

Hey, at least you were right about your observations. :D

Also a nice new start for Timmelon!  I noticed the speakers moved and you have a new spot for the keyboard.

Not yet. Next week, maybe.
What made you choose the LT to start?
I just wanted to start from something fresh, but with a cheap 4×2 chassis — this truck was bought at Level 7 without taking a credit ;D. The only upgrade which will be made in future is a top engine, when I reach the level needed for it. Cascadia could be a better choice (despite the smaller fuel tanks ;D), but I didn’t want to buy it with an old dashboard and then upgrade it — a lot of 2022 features can be installed on Cascadia only after Level 10.

Thank goodness for compact keyboards which can be placed that way ;D. When the keyboard was on table, it was very uncomfortable to reach for it every time.

I am new to all this, but I will say my favorite thing I played and noticed was of course the big Wyoming DLC. ;D  I mean it's a whole new place to explore... even though the whole map was new for me still. ;D  I also did notice the camera changes, and it is nice compared to how I did it before.

I'm glad so many people loved the 2021 updates.  Seems like EVERYONE loved the new photo settings.

Thanks for answering the questions Tim!!

The first post of 2022 has already hinted than we will have tons of places to use the new photo mode ;D.

I just remember how limited we were in the past.  It was horrible if you came to a place at night, and it was a place you didn't go often and wanted a photo, you had no way to change it.

I like how the roads are wider in ATS so I can drive my truck easier. ;D  That is what I have noticed. ;D  And no gosh-damn roundabouts where the traffic always hits me or my trailer crosses in their lane!  I know how to drive roundabouts, but I swear the traffic in the game WANTS to hit you on those thins.   ;p

You should try ETS2 more.  The roads are so much better than in ATS.  ATS is a lesser game with not as much quality.  You can see beautiful European roads in Spain or throughout France, Italy, and other beautiful countries.  Much better road systems in ETS2 than the poorly made American based roads.

Are you legitimately a troll?  Like I am actually questioning that now.   ::|

Does anyone know any of the cities we saw in the recent Russian DLC update photos?

Aside from Ryazan which was directly named, the only good way to find out is to study the comments under every post about Russia.

Yeah.  I was just hoping we could break them down like we do the US city posts. ;D  I guess it's easier to find the US ones though.

It is a lot harder.  But it is easier when we KNOW the city, we can find the locations.  At least with ATS, we can narrow it down by states.  With Russia... we don't really know which areas will be included.  We have an idea, but no defined location for sure.

Much better road systems in ETS2 than the poorly made American based roads.

Are you saying SCS is doing a poor job?  ;)
