I don't know how they could add Andorra, but if they did, they could include the truly dangerous mountain passes in and out of the tiny country.

That would be pretty neat to have some wild switchbacks to traverse.  Even if Andorra isn't in the game, having those mountains roads to represent it would be cool.

SCS continues to surprise.
American Truck Simulator Update 1.37 Open Beta is here!

The big surprises are rolling up and down your windows and BEING ABLE TO WALK AROUND YOUR TRUCK in your configuration garage.  We all know this is the first step for them to eventually do this in more areas, possibly the game world.  Read the article to see what they have to say about that.

Article

VEHICLES
Food tank trailer (ownable)
Paintjobs for bulk feed and hopper trailers (including the content of Classic Stripes Paint Jobs Pack and Halloween Paint Jobs Pack DLCs)
FEATURES
FMOD implementation with all existing sounds and few improvements
Openable windows on all trucks
AI movement and sound behavior improved (featuring FMOD)
Walking camera in truck or trailer configuration screen (plus new garage scene)
TOBII EYE TRACKING
Eye-tracking pause key function fixed
Automatic eye-tracking pause while the game is paused/in UI
Settings hotkey visibility in UI
MOD
Ingame sounds completely reimplemented for FMOD
Engine power range data (instead of boost value)
Exhaust gas temp gauge animation
AI data tweak (engine power instead of torque and gearbox, vehicle_mass override for trailers)

Mmm, finally the horn sounds like a horn, not as the synthesizer's preset.
And I hope that soon railroad crossing bells will be added as well to provide maximum cuteness  ^-^.

I'm real excited about this update.

Has anyone driven the Corsica update in ETS2 yet?

Of course!
Spoiler (hover to show)
It looks heavily vegetated like France's south, but with sea (with moving yachts!) and mountains at the background, more dried grass, more trees along the roads and lots of nice-looking cliffs, especially between Ajaccio and Bonifacio, where said cliffs are rocky. And due to slow pace driving on Corsica's roads I have spent more time to explore it than Sardinia.
The only real complain is a remoteness from other map: there is no ferry from Bastia to Genova (which exists IRL), and L'Île-Rousse have a port where you can see a ferry with closed doors (it looks like developers are teasing us). So you have to make a long detour to came there.

Timmelon said it well.  I also wish there were more ferry access, especially to and from Italy.

Rather boring little update to Idaho today.  But it's nice they do these details.  They certainly don't have too, but that is what makes SCS, SCS!

Looks like we know the second state released this year by SCS.  Today they teased us with a "mysterious" state that is... in fact... COLORADO!

So this year we know that Idaho and Colorado will be releases!  What a surprise!  Do you think there will be other surprises?

Mack?
Northwest 8×4 chassis?
Risky overweight missions like in early games?

Mack is coming in the game as is more International products.  They were also in Washington State to which we assume making further arrangements with PACCAR brands like Kenworth and Peterbilt, not to mention Freightliner and their new Cascadia named after the Pacific Northwest region.

Mack actually doesn't sell that well in the US compared for Kenworth, Peterbilt, Freightliner, and International.  Western Star is another niche brand as well. It's interesting how almost all those brands (except Mack) are located/from in the Pacific Northwest (Washington and Oregon).

Excited for Colorado!  I want to travel some mountain roads and would love more off-pavement locations and steep mountain cliffs you can fall off!!!  Also curious how they will do Denver.  Idaho has lots of mountains and forest too and I am excited about it's more wide open spaces.
