Bush isn't on any money, lol.  Neither Bush is, no modern presidents are. ;)

I feel George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, who were so important for our country, kind of got shafted being on such small denominations.  I guess that way you see them the most.

I am fine with keeping the bills with who is already on them, but if they have to change, I don't know how showing a "women's movement" on money will work.  I also don't think that should be on money, nor should any movement.  I think it should be a person on the money, usually of Presidential caliber, or very big importance.

I am not demeaning Harriett Tubman and the good she did, along with others, but I don't think they should be on money.  Maybe have the first female senator or or congressman, or maybe the first female of political importance.

I meant George Washington. Oh my gosh, how embarrassing. I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that. Wow, that is wow. That's my dumb blonde moment OTL

But hm, that's actually a really good point, Raine. I guess they want to put someone who everybody would know of. Not everybody knows off hand who the first woman senator or congress woman is.

Harriet Tubman was an important figure in American history.

The article is wrong when it said a female hasn't been printed on American tender in over a century.  Remember the dollar coins?  It had Shoshone woman, Sacajawea on it.  She helped the Lewis and Clark Expedition with her husband on their journey to the Pacific Ocean.

I think two other awesome women candidates to American money should be Clara Barton and Susan B. Anthony.  Also you could consider, Eleanor Roosevelt, Amelia Earhart, and possibly Lady Deborah Moody.

Many would also say, Betsey Ross, who is credited with sowing the first American flag, but the history on that is a bit unknown, too much so, to give her credit.  Margaret Manny is credited with actually creating the flag.

Former presidential hopeful, Ben Carson, says we should put Tubman on the $2 and not the $20.

The $2 bill? Seriously? Those went out of circulation for a reason, no?

But oh! Eleanor Roosevelt would be a great candidate to be on a dollar bill! I can't believe I didn't think of that.

Yeah, it is sad.  He had music that he didn't allow anyone to hear or buy unless it was from his own music downloading website or radio stations... :-/

This is pretty cool, two sophomores from the University of Washington in Seattle created gloves that interpret American Sign Language.  Not only can they decode the language, it can speak the language to those who are deaf!

Been following the wildfire in Alberta.  Parts of the "urban service area" of Fort McMurray have been completely burned out.  Homes, stores, etc.  Here is some photos and the latest news on the devastating fire in this remote populated area in Canada's wild north.
