For crud and giggles, is bigfoot real?
-
Homo Sasquatchus is totes real.
I'm thuper cereal guyth.
-
Let me get my bad quality camera and film random stuff that average people don't film and somehow catch a grainy image of a blurry figure that is actually my Great Uncle Thorton in a costume.
-
That video proves he is real. HE IS REAL. INTERWEBS SAYS SO.
-
If you guys think bigfoot is real, then you ain't seen nothing yeti.
-
Booo.
-
I'm suspicious. I don't dismiss the idea. Gorilla's were thought to be nothing but a myth. As were Giant Panda's. Eventually both these animals were proven to be, indeed, real.
This could be the case with Bigfoot.
-
I buy it
-
Yeah, you never know, with this crazy world we live in. :)
-
this world is friggin insane
-
Yeah.
Like I said, it's a possibility. That doesn't mean that there aren't hoaxes, because there definitely are. But some of these cases seem to random and crazy to be hoaxes.
-
It just seems weird that with as many people we have and all the studying in ourv forests, we have no true evidence of Bigfoot. If heexists, i think his likely area would be the west coast, heavy emphasis on the Pacific Northwest.
-
I just live in the pacific west
-
Heh, possible. Very Possible.
-
Heh, possible. Very Possible.
Everything is possible for a Possible.
-
that show was fucking awesome
-
Topic be Bigfoot guys.
-
Want a funny "Better when drunk" bigfoot movie? Strange Wilderness. The movie I talked about in the guilty pleasures thread
-
Okay, I am not nuts... I don't believe in the paranormal but I do think there is a possibility that Big Foot...feet? Big Feet exist?
-
like the creature or just big feet in general? XD
-
You don't believe in ghosts, Smiles? They be real!
But yeah, I really wish we can find some really concrete evidence.
-
How about loch ness monster? or Cryptoids?
-
Don't know about the last one, but the Loch Ness Monster, maybe.
-
apparently fresno has one
http://cryptidz.wikia.com/wiki/Nightcrawler
(HOw about we change this to "The Unknown Thread" or something? So its not just about bigfoot?
-
Yeah, that's be great.
What about Chupacabra! He's real, and he's fucking scary as shit yo.
-
what IS the chupacabra?
-
He's this awful... Dog like monster. He's mostly in the Mexico region and south-er.
His name in English would translate to Goat Sucker. Which is eactly what he does. He sucks the blood clean from his victims! His trademark bite is a three hole bite. There's no blood around the puncture wounds, and he never eats the corpses. He's a mostly hairless creature, kinda has a weird gait. Farmers know of him, they often find their livestock killed by it.
-
Ooooo what a legend~
-
He's spoopy.
He's killed people before too.
-
spoopy?
-
Spooky. That's what it means.
-
Just as most every country in the world has a vampire mythos, a number of regions also have a Bigfoot mythos... Sasquatch, abominable snowman (or Yeti), Yerin, Yowie, skunk ape, Ohio Grassman, the Dewey Lake Monster, Barmanou, Tsul 'Kalu, and Hibagon, to name a few.
-
ahh different languages
-
I hope people dont mistake Bigfoot for Grapefoot.
-
Well, does he have a lot of body hair and favor hanging out in secluded areas such as woods and swamps?
-
Heh heh
Is his name Charlie?
-
This is all very murky territory.
I am sure there is a Loch Ness type creature, one of those "Long Neck" with fins floating around out at sea someplace. The Japanese Navy I believe recently found one but weren't sure what it was.
-
*Buys ticket to Scotland*
-
He said the Japanese, not the Scottish
-
I wanna see the loch ness monster. And Loch Ness is in Scotland
-
Some think "Nessie" may be an evolutionary throwback to the days of dinosaurs. While not a behemoth, such a thing does exist (the coelacanth).

Are you going Marshall Erikson with the loch ness monster?
-
Sasquatch, Bigfoot, or Yeti.
Bigfoot, or Sasquatch, is most commonly said to live in the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California) region of the United States, and parts of British Columbia in Canada.
The Yeti, or Abominable Snowman, is said to inhabit the far reaches of Tibet and Nepal, high up in the mountains.
Check out this site I found which lists Bigfoot sitings and the most recent siting. I linked it below.

According to the site, Washington State has the most reported sitings of Bigfoot, more then any other state. What I find weird are the "sitings" in states that probably don't even have them, if they are real.
-
Whoa, coolio!
-

I'm afraid I don't understand the reference, but most legends do have some basic in fact and science... vampirism, for example, may have its roots in porphyria, a rare, little-understood disease that causes its victims to exhibit pale skin, an aversion to sunlight, and have to eat small amounts of blood to keep up their strength.
-
Wow. I did not know that. And I was pretty into vampires when I was younger. The actual lore and stuff, not the pansy ass stuff with Twilight. I liked reading folk legends about them and different places versions of the "vampire".

Soon we will have a generation thought that will get mad when some show doesn't have their vampires sparkle. I can picture it now.
"You mean vampires don't sparkle in the sunlight? They burn/melt? That isn't right."
-
Oh god. Plz no DX
That would be a horrible generation.
-
VAMPIRES DO NOT SPARKLE. Oh my gosh.... UUUUUGH.
As for Bigfoot, there is a possibility. That link that showed all the possible sitings is interesting. I know there are things we don't know about, especially in our oceans.
-
I think the next thing that's gonna get panzified is zombies. A lotta zombie stuff recently.

I don't get the zombie craze at all.
-
I have to admit, that gal from iZombie is a pretty choice piece of ass...

Mmmmmm...brains.....
-
......not gonna say a thing
-
You quite literally just did. (^:
-
I am confused but that is ok XD
With zombies honestly my favorite thing with them was scooby doi and zombie island........
That could be another guilty pleasure now that I think about it XD I love the "old" Scooby doi movies and series. A pup named scooby doo, the original Classic series, movies like Witches Ghost, the computer virus movie, and Alien invaders. I enjoyed the odd spin off series with random celebrity appearances too :)
-

I liked that movie cause Scooby sneezed.
-
I remember liking that movie too. Not because of the sneeze, I don't really remember much, actually, but I remember liking it.
-
I liked the Witch's Ghost
-
I liked the episode where they're witch hunting and they think Scooby is a witch and dunk him and he ends up catching a cold.
Anyway, not th topic to be discussing this.
Topic is about the unknown and shiz.
But to follow the train of thought, I do think witches or some kind of sorcery exist. Or at least, curses.
I've known families who have been cursed, and my dads dad worked with a guy who was cursed by a witch.
-
What about psychics?
-
Hmm. I don't believe they can actually predict anything. But it's cool what they can do.
-
Precognition I'm a bit iffy on myself. But telekinesis, telepathy, would be cool if that could be learned by all.
-
Well *shrug* not really a think anyone can do.
-
heheh. Well, I found this topic late but, I'm honestly on the fence for this and that's cause I never really cared about Bigfoot. I mean it's pretty much the alien fad, but with something more believable than a few lights. Gotta say though, one night a weird saucer lookin thing was bein carried on top of several huge semi-type trucks, side by side rolling down the road.. it was covered in a tarp, but the blinking lights were real obvious underneath. Police and Military escort and everything.. we live wayy out in the middle of nowhere soo.. i'll leave that to simmer for you believers and conspiracy theorists but, this is about bigfoot...
Time for another weird story!
Alright so Thanksgiving Day, we all sit down for dinner like just about everyone does right? So the sun just went down, and it's gettin dark. My back was to our window, so when my brother looks past me and starts just about choking on his food pointing outside, we grab the flashlights, a gun and bolt out back. (We get a ton of wacks walkin through our property. Several of em' were arrested so we we're just playin safe) After we let the dogs out for a few minutes, and search the bushes we don't find anything. We head back inside and asked him exactly what he saw. He ran, grabbed a book and opened it to a page on Bigfoot. We all laughed it off, and got back to dinner, but he swears by what he saw. To this day he still believes.
-
Whoa.... spooky. That saucer thing, man, makes you wonder what the government could be hiding.
Also, living in a rural place and your brother swears he saw Bigfoot. That's mighty convincing, though he also could have seen a bear standing on it's hind legs.
-
Yeah, it was a freak thing that saucer.. you never know :-X
And that's what we thought too, but hey.. again.. you never know..
-
I'm surprised no one's mentioned werewolves yet... quite a few cultures have legends about men transforming into great shaggy beasts, such as the French loup-garou and the Native American "skin-walkers".
-
Oooh, werewolves are interesting.
I find it annoying when people make "were-ponies" and I'm like.... "were" means man, you blockheads. *sighs* But yeah, werewolves are actually really interesting.
-
Ooh yeah, the skin-walkers. I'm real into all those legends and creepypastas. I love those kinda stories
-
for cereal, this thread should just be a supernatural thread. Not just centered on bigfoot
-
Mods, come on. Please. Change title name? Or OP?
-
Hahaha, we go off topic so much on this site, maybe we shouldn't even have names for threads anymore :P
-
It's up to the topic creator. I ain't going to use mega powers to change his topic. ;)
-
Let's see then.....WOLFWOOD! Where you at man?!
-
Gosh darn it :{
