Hey, I've actually been thinking of starting this thread for a few days and finally decided to make it after Blurr mentioned shipping fuel. So... what are your favorite MLP ships? What are your least favorite? Why do you like certain characters together? Is it just because they're cute, or do you think they're "made for each other"? Let's discuss :)

Yeah, I enjoy the show a lot. And hell, I don't get pissed at the "pandering", but I get annoyed when they throw away a characters potential just to make her "kawaii desu!!!1!!!one!" For bronies. It's just bleh.
She is cute though. But there isn't anything else to her than that.

I'm so baffled as to why people like RariJack.
It's like, on the level of LyraBon in terms of my utter disdain for it. I could maybe understand it after more recent episodes. But people were shopping this since that Sleepover Episode, and that episode was just awful to sit through. It just... It was funny, but it was a pain to sit through adult mates (or at least teenagers) fight like 5 year olds. I honestly never understood how "THEY LOVE EACH OTHER!" was interpreted from their petty squabbles.
It's so odd... But to each their own.

Variety is good in a relationship. But a relationship where EVERYTHING is based on "durr opposites attract" is not real. Yes couples don't have to be carbon copies, but they have to agree or see similarly in a lot of things.

I like to think of it more as coming to an understanding. Rarity doesn't know why Applejack is the way she is and vice versa. But if enough time were spent with each other, I think they would start to get an idea and make them closer.

By that I mean they (As in Whitediamonds) do it like uh... pretty much the opposite, they just like each other and being in each others company (no actually kissy kissy or fucky fucky).
Not sure why I like it, not sure if I like the ship because of WD (because their art is 10/10 would d'aw again), or if I think it's just cute, or if it's because they're my two fave of the mane six, but hey, to each their own.

But that's not what most artists and authors do. They just fight, kiss and then fuck. It's annoying, and I find it tired and overused.

I like it on one hand, but the show has seemed to be leaning towards Fluttershy x Discord, and it's too cute.

Well at first I thought it WAS selfcest because I just thought in the episode where RD was in the hospital, she was just inserting a vision of herself in the story. Hence grayscale RD
