I cleaned out my pencil cup that I haven't used in probably years.  You know what I found?  A pencil that was sharpened all the way to the metal band on the pencil.  I am pretty sure I saved this pencil since my elementary school years.  I put the pencil back in the cup to find it again in several more years. :)

Lol. I remember trying many times to use a pencil until it was sharpened all the way, but every time I tried, I ended up losing the pencils before I could accomplish that. >_<

Pfff, nice. Reminds me of my friend and I. She claimed there has never been an eraser (the big square ones) that's ever been used up completely. So she planned to do it. We thought she managed to finish it off until the end of the year, we were cleaning out our books and found a small lone piece that didn't get used up. We looked at it, looked back up at each other... Them lunged for the piece, both of us wanting to be the ones who finished an entire eraser XD

I don't know why that reminded me of this story, but it did haha. If lose my pencils freuquently and I'd be sad, I liked to name them and make them go on adventures. ... Yeah I didn't have many friends lol

Adventures?  Like hobbling around the desk and on your lap and stuff?  Have them jump around and do goofy things? :D  Yeah, pencil adventures.  Good times.

Well they had names and like, hmm... They'd like "walk" around my desk, but it wasn't my desk. They'd be in some other place. And they were on a mission. I didn't know what it was, but it was a mission. And it required hiding and jumping, and proving themselves. But yeah, good times, good times.
