Yeah, I can't believe people purposely run red lights.  Not defending her, but was she in a situation where she already committed or was it all out red light racing, a blatant stupid choice?

She made a blatant and stupid choice.  It had been red several seconds, enough time that my lanes of traffic were more then halfway through the intersection.

Being dragged by a river current through rapids.  That was quite frightening.

Wow, hold up!  You don't wear a helmet?  For a lack of a better term, that's STUPID!  Buy a helmet and wear it!  Incase you ever get in a real bad sitch, at least it will protect your head!

Seriously though, they never actually fit me. They're always too small, or too big, or some crazy shit like that. I've always been a head open kind of person, feels more natural. I probably should be wearing a helmet though.

Okay mom, geez. XD I probably should be wearing a helmet. The head is one thing I can't stand to loose. I've already taken so many hits to the head it seems kinda pointless though. There is always that little thought in the back of my mind that says "If you mess this flip up, you're gonna die." XD

Anyway, I am really glad you are safe!!! Running red lights is something that is freakin terrible to have happen. So many things could go wrong. I'm happy your breaks saved you, or the very least saved you a lot of money with avoiding repair damages.

Okay mom!! XD I really do hate helmets though, block out my wonderfully ugly hair from the world XD I've only ever ridden with a helmet once or twice, that was interesting to say the least.
