A rare non LA or San Francisco police chase in a movie!  A Seattle Police Chase!  Whats funny is the location they are pursuing them is nothing like "Seattle" they claim to be in.  Too flat and no trees. lol.  Love those big boxy Dodge Diplomat's though.  What cool cop cars. :)

It was actually shot in Vancouver. Hence the Plymouth being a "Caravelle" instead of a "Gran Fury". :)

^ Oh wow!  Good eye.  I'm looking at that now and you are right.

They tried to mimic many Seattle landmarks, which you can "sort of" do in some areas.  At the end they raced under an elevated road, which in Seattle is much nicer and called the Aqueduct.  The freeways were a dead giveaway and didn't actually look that American. 

I love car chases in movies, and to me, the older films do it more right then a lot of the new films.  No CGI tricks in these old ones. 

Also one of the rare films that didn't show the police cars all wrecking and being dumb when chasing people.  They legitimately pulled to the side when being shot instead of flipping over and exploding or crashing into random traffic that the bad guys weave through.

I need to watch this movie again someday.  It's been very long, and I don't think I've seen the whole thing ever.  I don't remember the ending, but I remember the chase.
