Oh no... I am expecting they will drop some screenshots or a video to tide us over.

GTA VI Is Delayed Again Until November 2026

Grand Theft Auto VI has been delayed until November 19, 2026.

This news was announced today by Rockstar as a part of Take-Two's second quarter earnings. Take-Two shared that the delay was "giving the team some additional time to finish the game with the high level of polish players expect and deserve. Rockstar has our full support of course, and we are confident they will deliver an unrivalled blockbuster entertainment experience."

Grand Theft Auto VI was originally announced for a fall 2025 release, which CEO Strauss Zelnick said he felt confident in even amid speculation of a delay. The game was then delayed to May of 2026, with Rockstar citing a need for extra time to "to deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve."

It's not exactly a surprise that GTA 6 has been delayed again, given the studio's past record of delays.

On a call with investors today, Zelnick also said players shouldn't expect any changes to the cadence of updates to GTA Online due to GTA 6's delay.

It's very upsetting but I guess at this point we are going to EXPECT them to make this game flawless with no issues.  Our expectations should be higher now and they need to deliver.

While we wait for GTA VI, if this project doesn't get DMCA'd, it's looking promising.  Made by a team recreating the magic of GTA's 3D era, they are creating their own game.  Grand Theft Auto: Carcer City.  Complete new world, new radio stations, story, voice acting, and more.  Here is their first gameplay of the introduction! Looks promising and the city looks gritty as hell!

I've been following this for several months! It looks so good!!! I hope Rockstar's lawyers don't shut it down, but I feel they will.  Especially as it's getting more and more attention and notoriety. The city looks amazing from what they've shown. It feels and looks like a classic GTA game. If they are successful, would love to see them make more!
