Hulu has released a FULL trailer for season 14.  A lot of info.  We get to hear Dale's new voice, see John Redcorn, and many others.  It's a significant drop.

It has its ups and downs honestly.  I'm not used to the animation style or the voice of Dale.  Not sure if that is Huss or not, but it sounded way deeper.  Possibly with old age.  Also kind of hard to see all these characters older.

I'm very torn at the moment on how I feel seeing everyone older.  It makes me sad. More positive though on the possible storylines.. :)

Yeesh, they really dookeyed on all Bill's character development established in the original series. He seemed to be in a pretty good place there, overcoming diabetes, dating the former governor, and making a new friend. Now he looks like something out of one of those shows on TLC where they have to cut walls out of houses to get those thousand-pound people out of their fetid bedrooms. Is he that codependent and maladjusted without Hank? And his good friends and neighbors Dale and Boomhauer let him get that bad?

It's a shame Dale and Bommhauer let Bill get to that point.  I am sure we will learn more and hopefully it isn't as bad as we suspect.

The voice of Dale seems different.  I wonder if that is the original voice actor before his passing? They said they recorded a handful of episodes before he passed.

Probably due to the actor's age and the character's chain-smoking. It actually was said in-universe that Dale should by all rights be dead now because of his habit.  Yikes.  Comes off a bit harsh, now, I guess...

Annnnnnnn-nd... we just lost Chuck Mangione, a recurring guest star on KotH.  Cripes, there may be something to this curse after all. You have to love a guy who's so good-natured he's willing to play himself as a burnout musician who lives in the Mega-Lo Mart, skulking about and defecating in the aisles every night....

Crud.  So many getting lost.  I'm starting to think there is a KoTH curse as you said.  It's terrible.

Reviews are coming out for the new King of the Hill which drops on Hulu, August 4th.  Some are already saying it's one of the greatest show revivals of all time.  I guess we'll still have to wait and find out.

Watched the first three episodes. I liked the first one. The other two were mediocre in my opinion. But very faithful to the original show. It feels similar. The pacing is a bit different though.
