Just watched the first episode. Very curious; quite interesting. The whole "show about people trapped inside a virtual computer world with no memory of what they really are, and are being mentored/kept prisoner by a enigmatic and omnipotent NPC" concept is rather reminiscent of something I saw years ago on Netflix and enjoyed... but, dammit, can't remember offhand the name of the bugger. Oh, well, it'll come to me in time, I hope.
So from what I read, Kaufmo was originally supposed to be a major cast member--a clown doll seemingly modeled after the old Fleischer Studios character
Koko, according to the theme song--but his part was rewritten because there were too many characters already running about this thing.
