Say what you will, but I don't see it having the same charm as the original. I mean, the humor in the first
Spaceballs was already pretty ridiculous; imagine how absurd it's going to be in the sequel, with the humor of the 2020's...

Then again, what Mel Brooks said at the end implied that they're making this movie because they want to, not just for the fans, so maybe they're actually going to put their heart into it and stick with their own genuine humor instead of giving in to the brain-rotting humor that's prevalent nowadays?
