Any dog can be a loving pet. But it all depends on how you raise and socialize it. And that's a hue problem. People don't socialize their animals. So they freak out when something new happens.
Pit bulls are often misblamed for incidents involving dog attacks. It's easier for news outlets to say "Pitbull attack". Gets more views and recognition, rather than "bulldog attack". Handy link:
