I find great amusement in the victim complex we've attained in a sense. Sure, some of it is warranted. But there are other more hated fetishits. Often the hate comes from misunderstanding. People thinking all of us like being sneezes /on/ or like having germs be sprayed on us. They rank it as gross like the poop fetish and water sports. Something gross and nasty. But there are people who realize that's not it and just kinda go "eh that's weird but whatever".

Yeah, it is much more complex then just a nasty snot thing.  So many groups and the media especially, make it sound like we get turned on by mucus.  That isn't the case for everyone.

But something I've noticed amongst our ranks is how open we are to listen to other fetishes.  We don't call them gross or weird, we hear it out.  MasterX accepted us.  Others can too.  I should have asked him what he thought about Sneeze Fetishists before us.

I hate the name the sneezing fetish has. I think even on Miggs Ask Viewing Pleassure blog they've called the sneezing fetish "mucophilia". I've looked it up before though (a few years ago) and that means a fetish for mucus. Not actual sneezing. At least the sources I looked at. I like Paws word, "sternuphilia".

Well, it would make sense we listen. we are an odd set so it would be hypocritical to not try and hear others out. Personally, doesn't mean I understand them. Like the foot thing. I still don't get it. And that has biological explanations! I understand vore, diaper, and other stuff. I get what makes the person tick and like it.

However there have been cases on Derpibooru where the "hate" was actually someone playing sock puppets and crafting hate and responding to themselves as someone different. To push an agenda of sorts. Pathetic if you ask me.

I had never thought about it because I didn't know about it.  But I did find it a strange kink when I was asked and started working with some of it.

So why did you get into it as much as you did? How did it come that people started commissioning you? And why did it die down? I've always wondered, you have to have other art somewhere else right? How else would people have trusted you were a good artist when they commissioned you?

I think the sneezing fetish has a horrible name because it doesn't actually describe how varied you are.  I think it should seriously just be called the "sneezing fetish."  It encompasses so much more then just one aspect that everyone thinks it is. 

Makes sense to you guys you listen.  But other fetishists and groups don't listen.  You are a unique group here, more then you know.  I promise you that.

Yeah, I do art elsewhere, but I keep it completely separate.  Plan to keep it that way.

Mm, it is a gross and ugly word honestly. Like sure I like writing mess, but I would never use that word to describe my fetish. A lot of fetishes have aptly descriptive names. Or simple ones. Like "foot fetish". I don't think it has a bigger longer word. Podophile?

I prefer keeping it as "sneeze fetish". It's more broad.

And ahah! I knew it. so did people know you before hand? And couldn't you be able to tell by the same style?

MasterX has to be pretty well known, honestly.  Being here is a "risk" to his name and brand.  He did a ton of sneeze art, so he had to be well respected at that.  I can only imagine what his other art is or where it even is.

Well known? I don't know about that. His art is good, but it's simple, almost plain, which I apologize for saying. I know he's a corner stone in our community but... I'll be honest. Before I joined the community I actually wasn't a fan of MasterX's art. It was more Rainy's Art that made me come here.

I'm sure if you looked hard enough you could find it.
