I sometimes turn the thermostat to 70, but it usually hovers at 68, because I don't want a high heating bill.  I have portable heaters to keep the room I am in warm.

In my dorm I keep it at 65. While my roomie cranks it to 80. So I usually tick it down to 70 to make her happy.

You'd think so, but using these portable heaters cuts my heating bill like... by a lot.  Instead of heating the hole place, it just heats a room and I save money.
