The fact that we were together about a year, community was shut down, then built a temp forum before we came here, and I'd say 99% of the people came back... thats pretty much unheard of for online communities.

Think of the constant drama being strum up on other forums all the time.  This is really one of the most chill places.  And I actually feel like I really know some people here and really like people here.  I actually think of you guys randomly during the day and think, "hey, wonder if so and so will be on so we can do this?"

Something I have gone back to from time to time is this topic, just to read the raw emotion and the joy of people seeing old friends log in and post for the first time.  I wouldn't bump it up if I were you, it's kind of cool to see it back there, like a time capsule.

One of the things that is sad is when you have good friends or well known members fade away from a community... we've seen a few of them.  But thankfully we get new people to join, like PSM here.

I'm gonna say this right now and hope nothing major happens to that I have to actually want to leave you guys. If anything, I hope for the "split" to be peaceful and mutual/understanding. No stupid bullshit.

It is always sad.  I know people don't want to admit it, but LeapingRiver is one of these people continually moving further and further away from here, until one day she will vanish.  Hopefully this won't be the case and she will return like old times, but we know that isn't realistic.... we don't want to believe the truth.  Blurr was one, but thankfully he keeps coming back, he's just busy from work.

The worst would be to leave on bad terms, but I don't see that happening unless whoever it is closes their mind off.  They would have to forget all the past with the people here and knowing who they actually are to leave on bad terms.

I never understood LP's departure from this place... or why she is even listed as a mod anymore.  Does she want to leave or something?  She not care about the people here anymore, or what?  Like I'm not trying to be a jerk, just legitimately wondering?

I also worried Grapefoot was leaving too because he was coming on very infrequently, but lately he has picked it up again, which makes me happy.  He is a nice and genuine guy.
