It used to run on the classic TV station alongside its parent TV series, The Carol Burnett Show.  Few people know, owing to it's being cut for syndication, that Harvey Korman used to open episodes as "Alistair Quince", a parody of those stuffy British narrators you often see on PBS drams.  Here's one of the original lost Quince cold opens.

Okay. Here be an anomaly.

I just found an episode of Bamboo Bears (it's a Friday night, what else would I be doing?) that isn't dubbed. At all. There are no voices! The music and sound effects are all in place - it's still waiting to be voice acted!

How did this happen? Did localization just forget? Or did the uploader mess up? ...Why would the uploader have access to pre voice acted footage??


I'll say this: it's RIPE for parody. Maybe we should all band together and record our own dub.

The thing is, there's no information on this show... I mean, even Wikpedia's got squat.  So, we wouldn't know what direction to take it in: like, bad, preachy, forgettable mid-eighties Hanna-Barbera/DiC cartoon series, or what?  However, I am a master of voice, so I could probably play a part or two.   And--get this--my character's catchphrase will be, "Butter up my pooper!"
