Title: Chains & Wounds (Drabble turned into a comic)

So...

I wrote a drabble a while back called "Chains and Wounds" for a very long time I've been wanting to turn this into a manga/comic.
And so...

It has began :D

I'll be posting pages in this topic here to keep them in one place ^^

This is a SFW story just a small warning for a little blood and a little violence is all! :3

Yeah this will mostly be monochrome except for eyes and maybe blood

When you mentioned to me drawing something I thought you were only going to do a sketch or two, but wow these pages really help show what you were imagining as you wrote this drabble :D

When I have time I'll comment on each page individually. =) There's a lot of pages to comment on.

What I can say now though is each page has something I enjoy about it and there are details on each individual page I can see =) I like these pages!

Thank you, yeah I like working with monochrome ^^ It helps getting better at shading :3

It won't be as much blood anymore after this ^^ She's gonna clean his wounds so it'll be easier for people after that :3

The creature watched as she was walking away, looked down at the cleaned wounds and thought for a moment, then it got up.

Yes luckily they weren't that deep. He's still in a lot of pain tho as you can see in the last panel where he's getting up

I have already decided that I'll do the sequel to this story too so yeah :D

I have a question. You add the text in after drawing the pictures. Does it bug you to have the text bubbles block the art you've drawn or do you try to plan ahead so it doesn't cover much?

I actually sketch the bubbles in from the beginning so I know not to put anything too important in that area :3 then I work around it.

It's been quite the journey ^-^ I feel like I've improved on my comic making, I even got commissioned for a comic on FA :3

I already got the sequel planned and will start sketching it out very soon

Heh that break lasted... 1 day XD I already got the cover art for the sequel sketched up, got the 1st page done and sketched up the second lol.
