My digital watch glows in many colors.
Since I still have that watch, I'll elaborate.
Three little diodes (blue, green and red) can light that thing up, which means the screen can glow in:
BlueGreenRedLogically.
However, more than one diode can light up at once, giving new colors. But unfortunately, the light emitted by each diode is of varying intensity, sometimes giving the wrong colors.
Cyan (actually appears as some pale shade of
teal, but can pass off as cyan)
Yellow (actually appears as
orange)
Magenta (correctly appears as magenta
)
And then all three diodes can light up at once to make...
White (white, if you couldn't read)
However, due to the aforementioned problem with the intensity of each diode, it appears as a lighter shade of magenta, more like
pink.
I can switch to each color (in the order I mentioned them) by pressing and holding the watch's light button. It'll cycle through all the colors until I let go of the button once I get to a color I like.
After the white light, the watch will start flashing all the colors I mentioned (meaning that whenever I'll hit the light button, all the colors will flash on my watch for a few seconds, which is fun at first, but gets annoying after a while), before going back to just blue.
Yeah, I had time to lose.
