My digital watch glows in many colors. 8)
Since I still have that watch, I'll elaborate.

Three little diodes (blue, green and red) can light that thing up, which means the screen can glow in:
Blue
Green
Red
Logically. ;p

However, more than one diode can light up at once, giving new colors. But unfortunately, the light emitted by each diode is of varying intensity, sometimes giving the wrong colors.

Cyan (actually appears as some pale shade of teal, but can pass off as cyan)
Yellow (actually appears as orange)
Magenta (correctly appears as magenta ;))

And then all three diodes can light up at once to make...
White (white, if you couldn't read)
However, due to the aforementioned problem with the intensity of each diode, it appears as a lighter shade of magenta, more like pink.

I can switch to each color (in the order I mentioned them) by pressing and holding the watch's light button. It'll cycle through all the colors until I let go of the button once I get to a color I like.

After the white light, the watch will start flashing all the colors I mentioned (meaning that whenever I'll hit the light button, all the colors will flash on my watch for a few seconds, which is fun at first, but gets annoying after a while), before going back to just blue.

Yeah, I had time to lose. ;p

Scattered thunderstorms are continuing to develop over the southeast
this afternoon. These storms are feeding on good
instability and decent effective shear of around 40kts which has
caused one storm to become severe around Wheatland. These storms
will continue evolve during the course of the afternoon and early
evening with the main threats being large hail and damaging winds.
Would not be surprised if this convection lingers through the
early evening due to synoptic scale forcing from the potential
vorticity anomaly and the entrance region of the upper level jet.
Things should begin to clear out overnight along with some patchy
fog. However, nice weather is on horizon tomorrow as the upper
level ridge builds over the area and suppresses the convection.

Wildlife Officials Can't Figure Out What Kind of Animal This is In Montana.  It was shot, still intact, but is like nothing anyone's ever seen before.

DISTRACTED TOYOTA COROLLA DRIVER CRASHES INTO PARKED CLASSIC 1931 FORD MODEL A

Motor1 Article

Have you ever had an old car so precious, you worked hard to bring it back to its original glory while making great memories in the process?

William Smith had that, but it has been destroyed altogether, thanks to a careless, distracted driver who crashed into his restored 1931 Model A – the second car Ford has ever made.

Smith faced this painful tragedy on Friday as a Toyota Corolla crashes into his Model A, which is innocently street-parked in Orange, California.

He and his dad worked on restoring this classic for two years, after being in their family for forty-five years.

The 87-year-old vehicle was a 16th birthday gift to his father in 1973, which was given to him on his 18th birthday.

The car was basically part of their family, but it was only two years ago when he and his father decided to work on fully restoring it back to pristine condition.

Smith told The Drive that his dad drove the Model A to high school and college, then it became his daily driver during his time in college and when he’s working. We can just imagine the lot of memories that come with it.

The culprit is a woman driving a Toyota Corolla, which drifted out of lane and smashed into the Model A’s rear corner.

This totally wrecked the car, leaving Smith with bent frame and driveshaft, snapped differential, cracked transmission housing, split engine block, and four broken wire wheels.

The impact also threw the hood 10 feet away from the car and intensively damaged the body.

Adding insult to the injury, the offender tried to escape the scene, first by backing up, which failed because her car was stuck, then by foot.

Thankfully, the police officers caught her later on for questioning, in which she confessed that she was on the phone when the accident happened.

Not that it’s a valid excuse but, it’s a clear evidence that distracted driving is something we should avoid at all cost.

In a follow-up post, Smith revealed that not only has his car been totaled, but the woman had bare-minimum insurance that will pay him only $5,000, some of which Smith says will have to go to buying the car back from the insurance company.

The only real silver linings are that Smith wasn't hurt because he wasn't in the car, and the woman went to jail on suspicion of both hit and run and driving under the influence.

Smith's follow-up post indicates that he wants to rebuild the car. But it also notes that it won't be easy to do, considering the circumstances.
