I always drive to no locations if I can't get a delivery to it.  I don't jump via quick travel.  In my mind that is cheating and makes me miss a lot of scenery, lol.

Chatter is increasing on two new trucks for ATS.  The chatter especially is picking up on the SCS forums.  People are claiming something is close to a reveal.  ETS2 truck chatter has slowed after the electric Renault, but a new truck is coming from another make.  I can assure you it isn't IVECO.  Lol!

The NASCAR Cup Series just raced in Iowa for the first time last weekend, so it seems oddly fitting we get our first Iowa photos from SCS this week.  That race was the most national coverage Iowa ever gets, lol.

Iowa is well known for it's very pretty, and well kept small towns. It's also known for its CORN.

Iowa looks like . . . Iowa! Very pretty details shown.  I recognize some of the towns.

Bremen this time ;D. Today it’s the older part located between two updated ones, so I agree that it must be updated too.

How much left of Germany do they have left to do.  I appreciate they are updating Germany, but how they chose to update it so broken up, I really do not like.  It seems like this has been dragging on forever.

I much prefer doing it section by section like they have California or rebuild an entire country all at once like Switzerland or Austria.

It gets confusing for sure.  They did highways and motorways, then did city by city in random sections.

And sometimes it appears like the randomness is provided by tossing a coin or d20 ;D.

UPD:
Looks like soon the second electric truck will be introduced. Actually, I have not tried even the first one yet ;D, so maybe this time I will be more lucky.
Or, this Scania on the picture is just an update of the existing R/S model, but I believe it’s not the update to be announced as «new truck».

It is NEVER IVECO.

No one ever expected IVECO.

I can say, for me Peterbilt seems to be the Iveco of ATS: no updates for this brand since late 2016!
(Well, you can count the update of engine list before the Heavy Cargo Pack release ;D)

Yes, two known Peterbilt's in the works as well as two Kenworth's.  Also some International trucks are being worked on and a new Mack and Western Star.  So there is a lot.

Now we know of a new electric Scania coming but nothing for IVECO.  I think IVECO will never have an update and I am willing to bet their license expires eventually. The only manufacturer currently in the game for which we have had no news whatsoever in the last couple of years is Iveco, for reasons we can only speculate about. Iveco has changed ownership at least once since the Iveco Hi-Way was introduced in the game, the last time right around two years after the S-Way was introduced and right around when a licensed S-Way could probably have been shown off as a teaser if work had started when the truck was revealed IRL; but with a shift in ownership all licenses would have had to be renegotiated... with a party for whom licensed merchandise was probably not a priority at that time.
