Yes, even IRL at home ;D. Older generations with small headlights had their charm too.
But Centuries and Columbias (from early 00’s) now are more popular here. Ocasionally I can meet the T2000 or 9800i.
Other American trucks I saw a) one or two times, b) only in a media ;D.

I like those older style Volvo's with the smaller headlights. There was a smaller local logistics company in my town that used to own a fleet of them.  Now they only have two or three old one's left and they are usually sitting in the company lot.  The newer Freightliner's they bought are being used instead.

I predict this week will be a week of much ETS2 news.
So, let’s see how it goes ;D:
Yesterday — the post about current event update.
Today — the teaser for another rectangle-shaped state:
In addition, today was a SCS’s stream, where a lot of Cascadias were spotted in the traffic:
Also, the hat on the dashboard of the 49X from that stream was probably a teaser for some kind of Cabin Accessories DLC for ATS.
So, this week is favoring to ATS so far ;D. And I see here a lot of fuel for a speculation, what state will be the second map expansion in the next year: M or T?

I could be WRONG. :D

ETS2 will be the focus of December.  Historically that is when ETS2 gets their big updates such as map expansions.

Maybe, Daimler-Benz (or how this company calls himself now) will earn more money in the US when they comply with American way of trucking instead of forcing the European one ;D.
Just by showing their presence with a Mercedes steering wheel in Cascadia’s cab .

I fine example of a company spending more money on their products that don't actually earn them money has been that Fiat-Chrysler merger.  When Fiat bought Chrysler, they used all of Chrysler's money to prop up Fiat and bring back Alfa Romeo and Maserati (they let Lancia die...).  Chrysler was selling roughly 800,000 new cars a year and Dodge was selling 1.2 million.  Fiat stopped using money to continue Dodge and Chrysler's development and now Chrysler is barely selling 160,000 cars a year and Dodge is under 400,000...

They brought back Alfa, Maserati, and Fiat, but they all saw lackluster sales and now sales declines.  Fiat has sold less then 2,000 new Fiat's in the US this year! Wow... bad.

According to the latest sales analysts of FCA, over 67% of the money they earn is from the North American market and in the past 3 quarters of sales, it was the only one that has been profiting.  So the question is, why is Fiat not investing in the Chrysler and Dodge brands which are still pulling in money despite the huge sales declines!  They haven't had new vehicles in ages!  Lol! AHH!

And now we got the merger with PSA and FCA... we'll see how that goes.

The whole thing has been a mess and Chrysler always gets the short-end of the stick... I just hope they can survive.

I voted for ATS. Even if upcoming Iberia DLC can be mind-blowing almost as Colorado, adding three trucks in one year (I don’t mind that two of them are close relatives ;D) is a great piece of work.

I voted for ATS!

ETS2 has had it's time in the spotlight, but the future for the time being is now ATS.  ATS has also innovated the series more with ideas and things.

I voted for ATS.

I don't think ATS will ever win because for some reason... there is a spiteful group on the ETS2 side of the fandom.  They hate ATS and all it stands for and I am not sure why.

Personally, I view ATS and ETS2 as one big mega fan group with the same love of SCS and trucking games... but apparently not everyone does.

There currently isn't enough ATS dedicated players to make this award happen.  At least I don't think so.

But I think December will be ETS2 news month.

I think so too.  We have the new truck for ATS, but otherwise it will probably mostly be Iberia related content.

Don't think we will be teased much more of Wyoming until after the new year.

The release of Iberia DLC will be in two-three weeks
ETS2 will be the focus of December.  Historically that is when ETS2 gets their big updates such as map expansions.

Nope.

So, who wants two ETS2 expansion packs in 2021? ;D The probability of such event is pretty high.

At least, we still can have Cascadia, and, I think, everyone have locations in both games he didn’t visit so far. For example, yesterday I saw one unusually narrow tunnel. So, who will tell me where it is? ;D

Wow... has SCS ever delayed anything publicly like this before?

The lighting looks so much better and makes scenes in Iberia look much more polished then in previous blog posts.  I was actually worried how the DLC looked.  It didn't look up to par.

I remember how cartoonish parts of old ETS2 were such as the UK with silly contrasts.  To some degree that was in California too.  People were shocked when they saw New Mexico employing a more subdued (real to world) colors.  It's good to see this will be implemented more.

The new lighting looks stunning.  Now if they could only make puddles and wet roads look good when it rains.

Nonetheless, I am thrilled and hope it becomes even better as they work on it.  I hope people don't whine and complain.
