That’s just
my ten-year old first LCD monitor, which is now used for additional windows — the program I use have them a lot
.
Fifteen months ago it was
my only monitor in use, then I replaced it with
this (much better for eyes, despite the same price), and when you-know-what happened, the old NEC was used firstly for my office PC I took home, and then
as a second monitor for my own PC when the office computer returned back (normal people use headsets for conference calls , but I didn’t want to change my beloved headphones, and, in addition, that legendary BM800 microphone is just cheaper than any really good headset, besides, it’s easier to eat and drink when you don’t have that thing in front of your mouth , — some calls could take a couple of hours and happen in dinner time), and now it’s installed vertically just for making the workplace more narrow — it’s no differences between placing the additional windows on the 16:10 or 10:16 monitor... except for a long list of warnings, which look more impressive on the vertical picture
. And the first monitor that red table have carried was a 15" CRT Samsung (
not my photo), which had a weight almost equal to all my three current monitors together.
P.S. As for the price, all those monitors are not professional, so all set costs cheaper than single 27"
Eizo. And the new buy happened mostly because some my colleagues have bought similar-sized monitors lately, and I decided to disable the «my current table configuration is not suitable for 27+" monitors» block in my head
.
