I know, I know.  It is a thing to be nervous about.  But your positive, Miggs is that you get to go home to regularity.  First days are usually just orientation of the class.  A welcome.  Don't get too worked up. :)

I'm gonna be starting Uni tomorrow, actually. Not gonna stay at a dorm, but pretty damn nervous.

Should have talked about this earlier.  Try not to be nervous hun.  But I am gonna be honest, I had butterflies too.  But when you get there, you will realize tons of other are in the same position as you, even if they don't show.  It is a normal human emotion to feel nervous at new things.  Just tackle it head on, and by the end of the first day, maybe even the first class, you won't be nervous.

Just be warned, the syllabus' they pass out will be far more scary then the classes actually are.  ;)

Nyeh, who reads the syllabi anyway? I know I didn't. Totes Dean's List material XD
No but yeah, they usually go over it with you anyway in class. It's simple, the rules and stuff. Nothing too crazy. And don't feel too nervous, it's gonna be fun :) you'll meet tons of new people and learn new things. It's a great experience. You're not staying on campus though to live? Interesting, it usually is more economic though. Good luck, friend!

Classes don't seem too bad. At least, the ones I had today. I WOULD have been home sooner, but a certain miscommunication screwed up my transportation :/

My Professors are real cool. They've got good humor.

That's good. Get on their good side early. That way if shit happens they'll be more likely to cut you a break because they like you. I'm glad to hear your first day went well :)

Sorry to derail but... Computer is not fixed.
I had two big problems. The solution I was sent only fixed one, which didn't allow me to do anything and made the computer super slow. However, after I reset it, I was excited to see my computer register wifi... Only for it to not matter because I STILL CAN'T CONNECT TO THE INTERNET! Gaaaah!

And Google gives overly complicated answers on how to fix it. Using terms I don't completely understand and mentioning opening things I don't know where to find

I think it is time to buy a new comp.  How old was it?

I hate Macs.

It was 4 years old but still ran very well. The problems only happened when computer forced the Windows 10 update.

And I have no idea Miggs. I don't even know what that stuff is or how to fix it. Windows always gives me the "couldn't automatically detect the serves proxy" or something like that when I troubleshoot the wifi.

I hate Macs.

Thats not a good reason. ;)  They are wonderful computers.  Whenever people tell me they hate them, they have no reason other then it's different to the PC they grew up with.

I switched to Apple several years ago and would never go back.

Do you have some money saved to purchase a computer?  It would probably help with... you know... school. ;)

I don't like them.

Trust me, I dislike people who hate things cuz they're different looking than what they're used to. Like how people bitch and moan about how the Skype updates suck when they don't. They just look different. But I actually can't stand Macs. They're fine for personal usage and what not, not really for hard work. But I can't stand the trackpad, I can't stand the keys. I've tried working with them and they just aggravate me. Also, I don't really ever see anyone gaming on a Mac. So... There's that too.

My parents are willing to help me with getting a new computer, since I need it. But they are expensive. Especially ones that will reliably work for a long time and can withstand heavy workloads and tons of tabs open (like when I update the SneezeWiki. I sometimes have over 30 tabs open including school work). And then one that can also at least run simple games. But don't tell my parents that haha.
