I learned in a minivan. Best thing in the world to learn in. It's long, so it taught me to turn and handle differently around things. It over-prepared me for my first car which was much smaller. It was a great learning vehicle, easy to maneuver, etc!
Those are honestly great vehicles to learn in. I'm not even joking. They are also the most practical car you can buy in most any situation, and affordable.
Okay, off my minivan soapbox.
