Title: Fav Game Developers?

Choose your 10 fav game developers.  I tried to include all the major companies that had titles this past year in the world of console and computer gaming.  Feel free to discuss and write in companies not included.

Oh my goodness!  I have to look up who made what and decide which and who I like!  I've heard of many of them.

So if I like the Sims, and I want to pick the Sims... but their original team, Maxis no longer exists and it is now made by EA.... do I choose Electronic Arts?

Maxis branched to also create a studio called THE SIMS STUDIO.  So you can choose either Maxis, The Sims Studio, or EA, since those other two are not listed.  It is up to you. :) You can also write in, but no one will read those. ;)

I would click EA since they at least distribute it now.

Oh cool, I didn't notice this till now.  I used to love EA as a company in the early days when they first started out.  They made the original Need for Speed games that were awesome.

My favorite game developer isn't around anymore.
It was called Clover Studios and they released my all time favorite game Okami
And they also released God Hand, then they closed down shortly after.

I know your pain!  I can't stand it when a studio that makes your favorite stuff goes under or is bought out, just to be ruined or shut down by the new company.

Ah unfortunate that you don't put Arc system works they have made nice fighting games series like guilty gear or blazblue (i don't have one of these games unfortunately  but I like to see videos of these games) and they recently developed DragonBall Fighter Z.
