I'm looking forward to some Forza Motorsport 8.  Coming next month.

It would be the first non-Horizon Forza game I ever play.  I always played Gran Turismo, so I look forward to trying this now that it is available for PC.

^ I am curious about it.  Going to read/watch reviews first.  Wait till the price drops.

Yeah, Forza games see price drops a lot as do 'THE CREW' games.   Wait a bit, and these will both be steeply discounted.

Reviews for Forza Motorsport 8 are coming in.  So far they are mostly just GOOD.  Not amazing.  But good.  Smaller car roster, track list, but more stable and customization in areas.  A good basis to build from.

It seems like it's a good basis to build a game around. I'm sure it will be better in a couple months time.

EA's first licensed Rally game with Codemaster's under their umbrella.

Overall a step back in virtually every single way.  Worse environment, graphics, depth.  The driving based off their old system's are still great. So what is going to happen to Codemaster's now?  What is going to happen to this game?  Will it sell well?  It's okay, average, but not a great game like the old DIRT games by Codemaster's when they were their own studio.

It's getting mixed to good reviews.  It's hard to know without really playing it, but I don't want to throw down that kind of change just yet.  Visually the graphics are worse, but the stages are longer, though the world is more bland.... Ugh.  So much up and down.

I'm now hearing more positive than ever for EA WRC 23.  So that is good.  We don't want more bad games.

It's good, but there have been many downgrades to it for whatever reason.

Our fears came true to online games.  Here is another example.  They are NOT making an offline version.  People have worried this for years.

The Crew Is Delisted, Servers Shutting Down At The End of March 2024

Ubisoft has delisted The Crew from all digital storefronts. Additionally, the online servers will be shut down on March 31, 2024.

On the Steam page for The Crew, Ubisoft left a message about the game's delisting. "The Crew is no longer available on the Steam store," the notice said. "All editions and additional content for The Crew are no longer available for purchase. The game will remain playable until March 31st, 2024, for all The Crew owners. After this date, the game servers will shut down, which means the game will not be accessible anymore."

If you go to the game's respective PSN page, it simply shows an error message. While you cannot purchase the game digitally on the Microsoft Store anymore, you can still seemingly play it through Ubisoft+ on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Since The Crew requires an always-online connection, once the servers go offline, the game will be completely unplayable, including its single-player campaign.

Currently, The Crew 2 remains unaffected and is still available on all digital storefronts. The latest entry in the franchise, The Crew Motorfest, was released back in September. Motorfest received significantly higher review scores than the original game or its sequel.

^ The principle of it all.  The fact they didn't simply patch it to run native offline is sickening.
