Not much.  Most major comics don't dare do that.  Most made no reference to any holidays.  There are some others, but not a lot.

Because holidays don't have anything to do with the comic/blog?
It's not that they're not patriotic, just why bother creating a whole other update that won't pertain to the story or anything else in general? Not every comic can update as easily as this one in which it can practically make an update for every single holiday.

I don't mean to be that guy, but I don't think y'all know how hard it is to frequently make complete updates with full lineart, shading, and coloring, along with OTHER things on the side. It's almost a waste of time to stop what you're doing to try making a holiday update unless you're actually PLANNING them in advance. And it's not as easy as just saying "Then plan it in advance". Actually doing it is a whole other thing.
