Saw a post on FB ... Michelle was the classiest and smartest First Lady the Whitehouse has ever seen and ever will see. So petty honestly.
Most found her arrogant, cold, and difficult to get along with.  She may have had a certain sartorial splendor, but like my pappy used to say, "You can dress 'em up , but you can't take 'em out."  Or at least somebody's pappy, anyhow....

She did mess up on some things for sure, but she tried.  I think we can all agree that trying to improve what kid's eat to stop the obesity epidemic is a good thing.  She made a few poor statements about things in politics as well, and said a few tasteless things against Pres. Trump that were unneeded.  It also wasn't cool how much money she alone spent on separate vacations and her wardrobe.  More then any other Presidential first lady.  Lot of wasted money.

But of course you don't see people bringing that up. No siree. No one wonders how she manages to dress so nice? Guess not.

Mrs. Obama dressed pretty on certain occasions, but sometimes they had horrible outfits on her.  Today she looked pretty in the red dress.

Melania has her own clothing line, so she will just use her own clothes.  No money from the tax payer used.

Mhm. Well that's good. God how annoying that so much money was flushed down the toilet for her wardrobe.

I didn't know this till today, but First Lady Melania Trump has only been a citizen in the US for ten years.  Can you imagine coming from another country, and in less then ten years, being the First Lady to the President of the United States?  How insane!

You can guarantee that if she was a Democrat, there would have been about a dozen special by now on tv about the rise of this woman and her leadership traits.  Because she is with a "Republican" President, nope.  No mention of it.

And for as bad as Hillary Clinton's outfits looked, she spent thousands on her wardrobe too.  One of her suit things she wore on the campaign trail this past year was over $5k.

That's the thing I hate.
People bash Trump about hating immigrants, yet look at his wife.
Look at how smart she is. I've brought this up on SFF and their response was "well she clearly wasn't smart if she married that pig". Unbelievable. I thought your husband wasn't what defines you to these people.

She is an independ and smart woman.  She will, in my opinion, probably be one of the more well known First Lady's after Trump's Presidency.  She will be up there with Jimmy Carter's wife and Nancy Reagan.

I know! It is horrible how people treat, Melania.  They call her horrible names and make fun of her accent.  Why are they doing that if they preach equality and welcoming of immigrants?  Look how well she has done for herself?  Talk about the land of hopes and dreams.  Coming to the states, becoming a model, then being First Lady in ten years!

Noble, perhaps, but misguided. America needs a First Lady, not a First Nanny. Plus it seems a bit arrogant of her to try to redesign the food pyramid, which has worked juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust fine for some thirty years, since I was knee-high to a junebug.

Worked so well that no one follows it and everyone is fat.

Things change, science changes, and we learn more things.  For the most part our food pyramid is fine, but people need to follow it.  Have more restraint, and they don't.
