For the most part our food pyramid is fine, but people need to follow it.  Have more restraint, and they don't.

So then, I guess there WAS nothing wrong with the food pyramid.  You just went in a circle, Soda.

I still think something needs to be done to stop the obesity problem though.  We don't need a nanny state, but does the government need to get more involved in regulations of what is put into our food?  I don't know?  It's a tough thing to deal with.

It's because SJW's WANT immigrants to stay where they are. So they can use them to push their agenda.

You'd think SJW's would love my family for doing what they've done. Come to this country legally with nothing but a suitcase and dreams. Dreams to live the American Dream. And they did it. Among all my friends, my family is the most successful, and I'm trying to say that in the non bragging way. You think they think that's good? Not at all. They still try to treat Latinos and blacks like they need special treatment. Like, what, there's nothing we can do to prove we're just as good? No matter what we do, we're still poor helpless immigrants who need the help of white people to rise us up? Is that it? Ugh! It's so frustrating.

The same people who preach acceptance make fun of Melania. Why? Just because she disagrees with them. Despite her being the picture of success, beauty, and grace. Sure she has an accent, so what? It's beautiful. She's a beautiful, remarkable, intelligent woman. But no one can see that. At least not those who claim to have their eyes open. It's sickening.

Government needs to stay away from our food and regulations like that. If people want to be disgusting fat slobs, that's their fault. Because even if they put regulations, people who want to shove food down their throat will find a way.

I say leave the kids alone; focus on the college students. I mean, they fairly live on pizza, burgers, Ramen, and take-out chicken. To say nothing of those buffets.  I think more money goes into the cafeteria's budget than into the education coffers-- look at the shabby textbooks and slow, outdated computer labs most school have to do with, yet the kids gorge themselves on sumptuous meals daily.  I remember sitting down to meals of steak, quail, and frog's legs, and every Saturday you'd find me at my favorite table with my face deep in a plate of taco pie with melted cheese and waffle-cut fries and cartoons on the TV.  I still find myself far more nostalgic for the lunchroom than the classroom.

Melania is Mr. Trump's wife.  Ivanka is their daughter.  Melania has the accent and is a ten year resident to the States.  Just for future reference.

Well I think overall, it was a wonderful day to see the transition of power and Democracy going at it.

Yeah, we are lucky how fluidly our power transitions.  I've been posting recently stories on other countries such as South Sudan ore the more recently Gambia President who threatened not stepping down, even though he lost the election.  He had to be out of the office by noon and didn't budge until threats of the military taking him out by force made him leave.
