What is this green line on the left monitor? ;)

That's right, the long-awaited bypass of LV's center. Is there at least one of us who didn't have a wish of it ;D? Of course, LV is not a traffic lights-filled nightmare like Artesia or Roswell, but it's still pretty slow area and before Utah DLC release there was no alternative if you want to go from NM to OR without making a ride through Primm. So I am very excited about 1.38, and I believe it's not a last surprise from it.

YESSSSS!!!! :D FINALLY A REVAMP OF VEGAS!  I mean, Vegas isn't awful, but I hate getting off the freeway to for southeast to Arizona.

Another thing in my opinion the ATS team has done better than the ETS team is the nearly constant upgrades to the old parts of the map.  They've made it so there isn't any areas of the ATS map I avoid due to it being outdated and old looking.  They've pretty much kept offramps news, signs, etc.  It's been nice to come through and notice little things they've changed, often without even telling us about.

Yes! :D  I am very happy to hear about these additions to Vegas and the revamp.  Looking and driving through Vegas in the CURRENT game, it reminds me of the city in the early 2000s, or late 90s. lol.  It is severely out of date.  So this will be a nice improvement.  The ATS team seem to be moving at a faster pace and innovating more.

The ETS side of things really need to revamp the Benelux region, Germany, and definitely the UK.  I love the UK and would love to drive its roads.  Imagine fully realized small roads, country lanes, rolling hills, then city driving in some of the bigger cities.  Instead it's a generic sea or sunflower fields, lol.  But the ETS team deserves lots of credit for the great FREE additions they have given us such as some islands and French updates.  Not to mention the great work they did on their latest DLC.

This is really good news.  :)  I might actually want to drive through that way now.  Lol.

Not to jump ahead, but San Diego, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and San Francisco could use some love someday too.

Well, after first try of Actros MP4 in ETS 1.37 (a month ago) I noticed than engine tone varies very slightly — from 1000 to 1500 RPM's I heard almost the same sound. So releasing of the correction patch was only a matter of time ;D.

^ I haven't had time since the update to play.  Would you have noticed any changes if they didn't tell us? ;)

Sadly, I'm on a «not *TS week» now so I will return to test my Actros only at Sunday ;D. And since sound adjusting is a thing I really wait*, to be honest ;), I can say that I will certainly hear any changes, if before them the engine's sound was very annoying ;D.

*aside from New Actros, Renault Premium’s sudden voice change at 1500 RPMs is much more apparent in 1.37, and Renault T's engine sound is almost hidden behind exhaust sound, so I just turned the latter off. No truck from ATS drove me to do this, and T680's engine sounds even better than in earlier version, so it's 1:0 in ATS engines’ favor.

I'm not one to pay much attention to engine and gears changing, or RPM sound.  But if the sound cuts, I notice and it can be immersive breaking.

I did play ETS2 with two different trucks, a Scania and an Iveco.  I can't honestly say I noticed any difference, other than the more immersive sounds we got.

Compared to the recent immersive sound update, I cannot say I actually noticed anything different in ETS2.  I played last night for about a half hour.

Well, I tested the v.1.37.1.82 and didn't notice so much change in New Actros’ sound, but in this update Premium sounds really softer than earlier (it would be good to make a record for better comparison, next time I'll do it for sure :) ). On the other hand, 2012 Volvo FH (at least, with D13, 460 HP) have too loud turbine — I tired of her after 10 minutes and turned on the radio back ;D. So it's probably not the last sound update ::).

They did say it is an ongoing process to continue to upgrade the sounds.  Just give them time.

I also wish they would add HUMANS to walk around towns and cities. Right now every place is a ghost town.

Las Vegas, new shadowing, colour presets... Pfff...
What impressed me the most — they finally taught the Road Advisor how to show distance to the next checkpoint ;D! Oh, how I missed this option every time when the company gived me the truck with 150-gallon fuel tank and I wanted to know, it's better to stop at this crappy fuel station with several sharp turns and traffic lights, or I have a chance to reach the next station, located directly at the road ;D.

Lol!  I agree with knowing the fuel thing.  I always would switch the trucks interior info screen to show how much fuel my truck has left, then have to turn on the HUD sometimes to see how much distance I have left before arriving to my next location.

Now the question is... will I play the open BETA or wait like a good boy till the game is fixed of all its bugs?  Hmmm...

I also wish they would add HUMANS to walk around towns and cities. Right now every place is a ghost town.

Oh my gosh YES.  I agree.  While the new cities are especially beautiful, they have almost NO people walking around or doing anything.

As well, 1.38 has so many new updates.  A lot more than I was initially expecting, since it was supposed to mainly be a bug fix update.  Many new routes including new roads in Nevada, Arizona, California, and New Mexico. :)  Very excited.

FINALLY!  We can use a color wheel thing! I hated the limited color choices we had in the past.

I'm thrilled by all the changes. :D  I can't wait to see what the ETS2 secrets may be too.
