Wreckfest is a gem of a game for those who haven't played it. If you enjoyed the games Dirt to Daytona and Test Drive: Eve of Destruction, this game is as close you will get to that currently. It's a good game.
Man, I miss those old PS2 era racing games. They were bomb.
Surprise announcement by Monster Games. A new racing league called SRX is in the work by many NASCAR heroes and legends. It is a racing league that will race on dirt and pavement, and feature drivers from racing leagues around the world! Monster Games announced a new game just a few days ago and it released on 5/28/2021. Very fast window! Oh, and the game comes default with over 50 racing tracks located all across the US. Now that's impressive!

If you want a shifter, the Thrustmaster one is a great investment — Logitech’s shifter contains too much plastic (but is four times cheaper ;D), so it’s a pretty common choice to buy Logitech G29 wheel and TH8a shifter. Fanatec products are made mostly for fans (typical Fanatec user room looks like that (https://i.piccy.info/i9/186fd047b8f9522e57924bb1599af38a/1623135296/188893/1432268/Room.jpg) ;D) and they can be a bit expensive for more casual gamers.
My G27 is still a pretty popular model, although I don’t like how most of the buttons are located on shifter’s base. G29 has all of them on the wheel, so if my current wheel will follow my previous video card , I will buy the setup I mentioned.
Added to my wishlist! Looks like something interesting. ^
If anyone remembers the old PS1 game, Jet Moto... it reminds me of that for some reason, lol.
That brings back memories, be kind, please rewind.
It's a shame to loose the Truck Series and Xfinity Series and only focus on Cup, so I hope in future installments they bring the other leagues back.
Motorsports Network who owns Motorsports Games, and owns the rights to NASCAR, INDY, and future British GP games has a lot on their court. We'll see how they do.I hope they become a good company at making games, rivaling Codemasters, etc.
Forza Horizon 5 in Mexico for some reason really doesn't interest me. I know the landscape will be somewhat varied... but overall it will be desert and I find deserts very boring. There is so little to do in them.
As well, the info on the new Test Drive: Solar Crown game really doesn't excite... like at all. Hong Kong is not a fun playground and it has been tried in many games before. I've never personally enjoyed it. I can think of Midnight Club and Sleeping Dogs. Neither had a good Hong Kong.
Gran Turismo 7 Tops Amazon Sales Charts in USA and Japan in Pre Orders

It’s only been a week since Gran Turismo 7 became available to pre-order worldwide, and already the title is topping sales charts — and in some cases selling out entirely.
According to charts published by multi-purpose online retailer Amazon, the various versions of Gran Turismo 7 are firmly entrenched in the top of the PlayStation 5 video game best seller lists.
Amazon’s Japanese store has four flavors of GT7 all sitting in the top ten best-selling games, with both the regular and 25th Anniversary Editions, with and without special Amazon.co.jp pre-order gifts on the list.

Every time I see Gran Turismo, I think, how can they possible improve the graphics? I've been saying this since like the days of the PS2. ;D
Hot wheels Unleashed is surprisingly good, campaign races start off quick and simple, giving you time to get accustomed to the game and controls. The difficulty will ramp up as courses get larger and more chaotic. It's a polished arcade racing game, all the cars feel unique. Boost is earned passively or by drifting. Fast cars tend to have less boost while slower cars have more boost. It even lets you design your own course, with a very detailed track editor. Car customization is limited to paint color and type and liveries. My only critique is the way cars are unlocked, unlocked via blind box or loot box.
Tons of Gran Turismo News. New Tracks, Car Lists, etc.

•Monster Games: World of Outlaws Console Game Announced -April 4th, 2022
I haven't played a proper nascar game in years, like PS2 or PS3. I hear they're not as good now. That doesn't surprise me.
Split/Second is an older racing game, but it's the cheapest it's been in years. Worth a buy if you want an action packed ARCADE racer.

^ Is it any good? I require two opinions. ;D
How hard is it for them to go back to basics and just do Hot Pursuit games?Or Porsche Unleashed ;D.
In typical EA fashion.... EA buys Slightly Mad Studios known for their Project Cars games. Well, EA has broken the team apart and removed Project Cars and Project Cars 2 from Steam. >:( Why not just keep the games there? They were really good and now a talented team is all over EA's various studios.
Article (https://www.gamespot.com/articles/ea-has-officially-retired-the-project-cars-series/1100-6508986/#:~:text=EA%20has%20quietly%20retired%20Project%20CARS%2C%20the%20racing,into%20%22suitable%22%20roles%20at%20the%20company%20where%20possible.)
"EA has quietly retired Project CARS, the racing game series that was developed by Slightly Mad Studios. After internally announcing that it had made the decision to "stop further development and investment" in the franchise, EA also confirmed that affected staff will be moved into "suitable" roles at the company where possible. All three games had previously been published by Bandai Namco prior to the studio being acquired by Codemasters in 2019, and eventually by EA in 2021 as part of its deal to purchase Codemasters."
I also have heard about this long forgotten game called, Crash Time... and it's a whole series. I bought Crash Time III for $1 USD on Steam, lol! Hope it's fun!
NASCAR Heat 5 is getting the 2022 DLC released Thursday... it's so late. lol.
I don't like how the new Forza has no qualifying it seems.
I'm now hearing more positive than ever for EA WRC 23. So that is good. We don't want more bad games.
Wreckfest is coming to PS5 with enhanced EVERYTHING.
